Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Hauntedpaw really had a hard time sneaking away to train in MoonClan. Or rather, he was somewhat exhausted by it, bearing the weight of his father's expectations, and his mother's, for that matter. He was half asleep on his feet during training, well, what was supposed to be training. Apparently Hauntedpaw thought it was a napping contest, as the tom stumbled right into Ravenpaw, unceremoniously knocking them both to the ground. The black tom lay there for a long moment before yawning, and slowly trying to push himself to his paws, mumbling a "Sorry." to the tom he was with.
Ravenpaw was plenty skeptical of this whole arrangement with SunClan. Well, in his mind it was an arrangement more than something required. They all just seemed to passive about, and it made the young apprentice suspicious above all other feelings. So when the other tom knocked him over a growl resonated from deep in his throat. "Can you just... not? I don't want you're SunClan germs and whatever all over me!" He pushed Hauntedpaw away and scrambled back to his paws. "You and your entire family, I don't what's with you guys."
Hauntedpaw stumbled back half a step before correcting himself, ear twitching at Ravenpaw's comment as he scowled. "You think I like SunClan dirt all over me either? You know how much scrubbing it takes to get it off me?" He spoke without thinking, snapping back slightly at the tom on instinct. "What do you mean 'what's with my family', anyway?"
A light smile formed on his lips before it quickly disappeared. Nocturnepaw never said anything like that. He always talked about how it was a necessity and all that, but he always fell short of simply denouncing SunClan and what he was learning about there. Maybe Hauntedpaw could actually be reasoned with. "Well, your mom's from SunClan, your dad more or less is too. I know, he's from a gang, but they worshipped the Sun God too, so same thing. Then you and your brothers go and train there... it sounds suspicious to me."
"Mom would never betray MoonClan. Why would Selene let her be leader if she was worried? Or let our father be a Shadowhunter?" Hauntedpaw scowled slightly. "I'm pretty sure my parents had a plan or something. They just didn't anticipate Bloodystar to be so...." He twirled a paw next to his ear, clearly indicating Bloodystar's craziness. "Not just our uncle either, the lot of em. It's like they're all suffering some sort of group delusion. Whatever stories you've heard, I guarantee it's so much worse."
The more he spoke, the more Ravenpaw was liking him. Sure, his family was not ideal, but everything this tom said went above what Vantapaw and Nocturnepaw said. Again, neither of them said that Bloodystar was crazy, they only said that he was 'making' them do something. Whatever hostility was left on his features vanished as he sat down and wrapped his tail around his paws. "Please, do tell me of some of this delusion. Are your brothers caught up in it too?"
