Subtlekit certainly didn’t like the idea of Limekit joining them on their adventure. Her sister would certainly tell their mother every little thing that Subtlekit did, or rather she may inflate her actions to their mother. But the tortoiseshell was nothing if not a lady, and ladies were meant to be gracious and giving. Instead, she rose to her paws and turned from the tree while effortlessly flicking the snow that clung to her tail aside.

“I’m sure that Stormpaw will love to hear all about it, Limekit.” Subtlekit said cooly. “After all, I’m sure he adores your stories as much as you adore telling them. And what a story this will be.”
