The kits were playing just outside the den with more than a dozen pairs of eyes on them. To Crownedgrace, that was the signal to take a break from her duties and have some fun. Or in this case gossip. “So, does anyone have anything new they want to share? Any drama? Toms giving you grief?” She smirked as she noticed one of the nursery aids that just so happened to be a tom take their leave. Well, Kitdeath was always sneaking off. “Oh come on! I’m sure someone here went on a blind date. There has to be something.”
Applecrisp while he was a warrior he spent most of his time in the nursery since the birth of his nieces and nephews. They were getting older and didn't need his hovering as much as they used to. So he left them in the care of a few of the other queens and nursery aids. He heard Crownedgrace mention the blind dates and he remembered the blind date he had been set up with. "I went on a blind date it was well different." He commented.

Crownedgrace immediately perked up and turned to the tom. "You did? With who?" She asked and while her enthusiasm was evident, she still maintained a poised posture. Even when gossiping, she tried her best to act mature or at least more mature than an apprentice might during a conversation like this. "Tell me everything!"
"Pumpkinspice set me up on a date with herself." Applecrisp replied and odd look was on his face. The date had been a strange occurrence. He had always known Pumpkinspice as his daughter Chestnutheart's friend. He was pretty sure the moment Chestnutheart found out she would have some strong words with him.

"Now that is different," Crownedgrace said, bringing a paw up to rub an appreciative circle on her cheek. "She's a bit younger and close with your daughter. If you two were just set up randomly then it might be awkward, but you're saying Pumkinspice chose for it to happen?" She could only imagine what kind of family drama that could cause, but she knew the situation might be too touchy to smile about. "Well, how was the date then?"
