Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Silverhydrangea had received a sign from StarClan, he was sure of it. It had been in the form of a most wonderful dream, one in which he had been frolicking among the flowers in the wildflower meadow, alongside a clanmate who was clearly his StarClan-decreed soulmate – the only problem was, he had forgotten exactly who it was that had starred in this romantic prophecy, and the details were getting fuzzier by the minute. He was sure that he would recognize him or her when he saw them, though, and upon waking before most of the clan he had taken it upon himself to find a gift for his new soulmate. Not such an easy task in winter, but he had found a few respectable snowdrops in the woods and now returned to camp with this delicate bouquet clamped in his jaws, ready to be laid at the feet of his everlasting love - as soon as he found out who it was.
Satinshore had received a sign from MarsClan, she was sure of it. It had been in the form of a most wonderful dream, one in which she had been frolicking among the flowers in the wildflower meadow, alongside a clanmate who was clearly her SparsClan-decreed soulmate – the only problem was, she had forgotten exactly who it was that had starred in this romantic prophecy, and the details were getting fuzzier by the minute. She was sure that she would recognize him or her when she saw them, though, and upon waking after literally the entire clan, rolling ungraciously out of her nest with her fur matted from restless slumber, she trudged out of the den and glanced around. Was it maybe Ratstar? She could see him outside his den, snuggling up to Pottyash, but was his single, handsome, lemony-lime eye looking her way? Wait... no, that one was closed. Maybe Stenography? But she hadn't seen him since...
Oh.
Him.
He was the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen today. With his luxurious, flowing fur the exact shade as her two-legs' appliances and the most to-die-for pine-green eyes that reminded her of the greenish water of their garden pond, she knew there and then that he was the cat right out of her dreams. Quickly, she smoothed her pelt and flounced across to him, but then slowed her stride to a casual stroll, taking care to brush her tail under his chin on her way by. "Oh~" she tittered, "Well, hello there, handsome~"
It was her. Well, probably. Maybe. He didn't exactly remember his dream mate having such matted fur, but he guessed that StarClan probably made all your mats disappear while you were cavorting in prophetic dream sequences.
"H-hello there, handsome," he stuttered as Satinshore drew her tail across his chin, his already rather empty head failing to warn him that he was just dumbly repeating her line instead of saying literally anything else. Of course, as soon as he opened his mouth, his delicately gathered bouquet fell unceremoniously onto Satinshore's back.
"T-those are for you, uhh......" said Silverhydrangea nervously, looking into his dream-girl-maybe's eyes and realizing he didn't know her name, which was weird considering they slept in the same den. "... my love," he said, clearly not understanding the concept of coming on too strong.
The bouquet plopped onto her back and then to rolled to the ground, a few of the snowdrop petals catching in her pretty sand-colored tangles, and Satinshore gasped elatedly. "OhmygoodnessiLOVEthem," she said all in a rush, gathering them up and then gazing so deeply into his eyes, she felt like she was about to fall into them. "Oh!" Her forehead connected with his nose, unluckily for Silverhydrangea, but fortunately for Satinshire the impact with him allowed her to reel back and stabilize herself.
"My savior!" She gushed, electing to ignore his now bleeding nose and dazed expression. "I would be dead if it wasn't for you! I love a chivalrous man~" Of course, as soon as she'd opened her mouth, the delicately regathered bouquet had fallen unceremoniously back to the ground and was promptly trampled by a stray paw during their collision.
