Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Lamb was ecstatic that her mate was now the leader of the clan. It was amazing, and he deserved it. He put so much effort into everything he did and was amazing at it all. The she-cat could only dream of being half the cat he is someday. Gazing at her lover from across camp she wondered how she'd ever become worthy of him in the first place. Their children were grown, and the clan was thriving and all was good in this moment. Were cats jealous of her? Of having a leader's heart for her own? Maybe. But she would always feel unworthy of that heart laid in her possession, undeserving of his devotion. Lamb desired to become a better warrior for the can, but she needed a teacher, someone who could show her the proper ways and not just laugh when she messed up. Maybe then she could prove herself worthy of her mate.
Brownie noticed the ex-queen and bounded over, excited to talk to her. She wondered what her clanmate had been up to. Whether she was excited to be a warrior or not.
"Lamb!" she said, tail swaying. "How have you been now that you're out of the nursery?"
"Oh! Brownie, how are you?" She grinned at the sight of a fellow friend and queen. The two had spent many moons together now in the nursery and it was nice to have such a companionship. "It's been...interesting to say the least. Ever thought about becoming a warrior yourself?"
She twitched one brown ear in thought. "A little bit. I grew up with a twoleg, and honestly I've been too afraid to leave the nursery. I'm not sure I would have what it takes to be one. But tell me about yourself! How has your training been going?"
“I did too. That is, until they abandoned me in an empty nest. I know now you can’t trust twolegs, but our clan mates...I trust them.” She didn’t like thinking about her past, but it also helped others to understand that that clan life was so much better. Lamb had been training for a few moons to become a better warrior and now she had her chance to help another see to the life of a warrior. Don’t get her wrong, being a mother was an amazing thing but serving the clan was just as good. “It’s been difficult but fulfilling! I had a few skills from before becoming apart of the clan but I’ve definitely improved. You may find it good to try a few things like some battle moves. May be useful for when we’re moving camps.”
