Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Mistyveil was like two possessed beings, her fur and eyes vertically cut in half. Hot rosy peach fur radiated like light shining through pink clouds on her left half. Icy shimmery Russian blue blurred on the other half like light shining through fog. Her right eye was a rare turquoise shade while her left was haint blue with glittery gold specks. A WinterClan queen and medicine cat. Her fur fell across her neck like a majestic mane floating in the wind. Her gaze moved between the two borders, SunClan or DayClan. Littlebird had helped her in SunClan, but how many times would she want to help her again? Just in case Mistyveil walked over to the SunClan border and decided to wait around a bit and then got a bit daring and decided to advance further in. She needed some more herbs, basic ones too so they shouldn't be too hard to trade something for.
Vixenpaw hadn't been taught much of the healing aspect of being Medicine Cat, since she hadn't been able to find her mentor. While she did know more, after befriending SpringClan's Medicine Cat apprentice, than she had prior to SunClan's takeover, she still wasn't where she should be after being a apprentice medicine cat for a moon or so. When she saw Misyveil, whom she'd only heard about, and could only assume who it was, wondered into the camp, she was surprised. The deaf apprentice didn't know if she should approach the WinterClan cat or if she should stay put. Deciding on the later, she sat back down.
"Does anyone know where your medicine cat is?" Mistyveil asked, still not understanding that SunClan didn't even have a medicine cat and that it went by an entirely different name and meaning, "I need poppyseeds or something of the sort, it's very important."
Vixenpaw's ears twitched as she read what the WinterClan cat was saying. The deaf apprentice shrugged. "I don't know if Foxstar would be willing to share anything." she finally replied. She glanced around before coming up to Mistyveil. "There might be some in DayClan's camp, though." Her voice was barely audible. They weren't using them, and she couldn't remember if SunClan had taken all their herbs when they'd left.
"Why would a leader be in charge of that?" Mistyveil asked, but suppressed a sigh and looked back at Vixenpaw, "Your voice sounds a bit off, are you partially deaf?"
Vixenpaw tilted her head at Mistyveil "Foxstar is in charge of the healing." she responded and then shook her head. "Partly deaf? No. I'm competently unable to hear. It's one of the reasons I decided to because the Medicine Cat Apprentice for DayClan."
"Oh, I'm deaf in one ear, I always have to stand to the right of people to hear them. But I was a prison guard first before becoming a medicine cat," Mistyveil said, her gaze turning on the area around them, "If you're a medicine cat apprentice you should come to Moon Creek with me, everyone deserves to see it."
"What they don't know can't hurt them," She winked, her russian blue tail gently swaying to Vixenpaw's side, "Every medicine cat should see Moon Creek and who knows what they'll let you do in this clan. It might be your only and last chance. Perhaps StarClan can guide you."
