Lex wandered the dark night, a cold breeze stirring up snow freshly fallen earlier in the day. A full moon hung in the sky in between the pine trees, though a heavy fog seemed to be slowly rolling through, obscuring the area around his paws as the moments went on, until he could hardly see a thing in front of his face besides the vague outline of trees within two foxlengths of him. The scents around him seemed to fade, and it was hard to tell where he was but for his own memory anymore.
