Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Strikhedoniadalisay walked into camp with her newest recipe, pumpkin spice rats. Each rat was filled with pumpkin fluff stuffing and spicy pumpkin seeds sticking out inside. She had all about given up on "running" into Bloodystar, it just wasn't going to happen. Every time she tried to see him was always the time he was gone. At least he would know she was there when he would smell the rich leftovers of the prey she brought in.
Lying the three rats down in the fresh kill pile she turned to head back to DayClan. Typical of her she would enter the camp purely to provide for the clan before heading out. Duskslayer happened to spot her and ran to the back to get Bloodystar's attention, "Hey moms in camp if you wanted to say hi to her. She also brought in some prey, but... I think everyone's getting to it first," He said observantly as he stared down at the cats collecting their meals. Sure prey was low for SunClan, but regardless of living situation cats seemed willing to fight for her prey so it wasn't too weird.
"Glowstar is here?" Bloodystar had been dozing in a patch of sunlight with his daughter, Fawnkit, although Duskslayer's approach had woken the both of them. In seconds she was on her feet and stretching, letting out the cutest little squeak as she yawned, and immediately brushed up against Dusky's leg. Bloodystar himself was soon on his paws as well, "Thanks for letting me know, Dusky. I swear she's been avoiding me lately... can't imagine why." He wasn't being sarcastic, he literally was in denial that she would be anything less than fully supportive of what he was doing, "Would you look after Fawnkit while I go talk with her? Make sure she doesn't play with the other kits, they're too rough with her."
"Dad!" Fawnkit squeaked in protest, her fluffy tail sticking straight up in the air, "But I---"
"Tell Dusky all about it, he's a great listener," Bloodystar cut her off, giving her a gentle pat on the head before dashing after Glowstar.
Fawnkit looked up at Dusky, cocking her head, a frown on her face.

"Glow!" A big smile spread across Bloodystar's face as he bee-lined it toward the auburn tabby she-cat. He hadn't felt so light it in weeks, she had such a strong effect on him that other cats nearby were likely to pick up on it, too, "It's been forever! How's DayClan?"
Up close, he seemed unusually cheery, at least by his standards. Glowstar would likely recognize this as the face of a fragile cat. He was beginning to teeter between extremes, at times friendly and charismatic, while others cruel and confrontational.
Duskslayer dipped his head, "Of course Bloodystar."
Despite himself being raised by Glowstar he could tell that Bloodystar and her had the closer connection. Plus maybe if he had a visit with Glowstar he would be in better spirits.
Glowstar turned to see a streak of orange fur barreling straight towards her. Her emerald eyes glimmered like starlight seeing her son run towards her. Immediately Glowstar met the distance between them wrapping herself around him in a tight embrace, "Mmm, mmm mmm mm!" She said as she moved him side to side in her loving embrace. Letting go she took a step back admiring him with a smile of pure pride that only a mother could have, "You look so different as a priest Bloodystar, it makes me realize how much I've missed you."
She waved her paw to the side with a light murmur of laughter at his question, "Usual craziness in DayClan," She said her starstruck smile still visible on her lips before laughing nervously, "I can't stop looking at you, you've changed so much," She purred, her paw touching the side of his face, "It's unbelievable." She said kissing the other side of his cheek, "Stop getting so handsome, I can only imagine how much Dusky's changed too," she teased him before noticing the freshkill pile and letting out an audible gasp, "Darling you're going to be skin and bones with that! Here, how about we go and pick some fruit together, I can make us all a tasty dinner when we get back."
Bloodystar melted in Glowstar's embrace. He was quite a physically affectionate cat, but few would know it, those who he really opened up to were few and far between and of those number most had left SunClan by now. He resisted being pushed away but only for a moment, as he was aware to the many eyes on his fiery pelt. When he met Glow's gaze he had a goofy smile and... were his eyes watering? He blinked and used the amulet to cover the slip up, although odds were it was too late.
"Stop it, I really haven't changed that much at all..." Bloodystar said a little bashfully, of course he loved the shower of compliments and didn't want them to stop, but that's just what you said when someone did that. After a few moments he snapped out of his daze, "... but really, don't worry about SunClan too much. We're doing just fine as far as food is concerned. The rest of it is stored with the prisoners. Anyway, I'd love to have some of your cooking, I always miss the treats you bring from DayClan! They get snatched up right away!"
A pause.
"But not because we're starving or anything, they are just that tasty!"
"I've got just the thing for you, you're going to love it! I'm going to fix you up some chicken. We never got to have a celebratory dinner for you," Glowstar purred rubbing his shoulders up and down as a resistance from pinching his cheeks knowing that he wouldn't enjoy it.
There was a big spread of food, but the prize of it all was the chicken. The bird was entirely cleaned, presentable without the neck, head, or feathers. The chicken had been roasted on one of the scorching stones in SunClan before stuffed with celery leaves, DayClan's bread delicacy, sage, and thyme. Covering the top was summer savory. Circling around the chicken was a spread of corn torn off from the husk mixed with mashed potatoes that were clearly mashed using a rock after letting them sit in hot water for a bit. Along with some cranberries decorating the side to give the meal a bit of color.
"Each of you have big positions, thinking about yourself will always come second. I always had to put my job as leader before Dusky, but I'll always push to put each of you first even when you can't and that includes this meal, it's for you two so please eat up as much as you want. I should head out though, I hope you enjoy," Glowstar smiled at Bloodystar and Duskslayer.
"Mom, you said it was raining in DayClan, I'm sure it's okay for you to stay the night here. You're territories so flat it could easily flood," Duskslayer reasoned.
