Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
With autumn in full swing and leaf-bare just around the corner, one of Havilah's favorite treats - ducks and other flying game - had been migrating south through Regime territory. Today he had been out on a patrol when a duck practically flew into its mouth. He dispatched it in seconds, snapping its neck in one smooth motion. A fat, fluffy thing, and quite large, his mouth watered as he drug the drake back to the Regime and straight to his great grandmother Eartha's quarters.
"I thought you'd like to share this fresh-kill with me," the two of them hadn't had a lot of one on one time so he thought sharing prey that he had personally caught would be a good way to bond with the ancient she-cat, "I assume you have had duck before?"
"Unfortunately not, the old territory had turkey though," Eartha purred as she settled down beside Havilah. For being older than Sean her looks had remained intact, the perks of being a kittypet.
"You're one of the most respectful cats in this Regime, bringing me prey like this to share. No one here deserves you, but you stay anyways. If no one's said that they're proud and glad to have you here then they don't deserve you, but I'll tell you this, I'm proud as heck of you," She smiled kindly giving him a friendly nudge across his shoulder, "A duck isn't easy, back in my day only cats in the Survival Clans could catch one. You had to be specially trained for it, good on you."
