Sorbetpeony
SunClan Warrior
The Fortunate
Sorbetpeony gazed down into the hole that she had been burying her catch into, even though prey was becoming harder to find it was rare for Sorbetpeony to ever come back to camp with empty paws. Even now she had a mouse, two starlings, a rabbit, and s shrew for her efforts. She had been out hunting all morning after the prey shortage announcement, wanting to her best to help SunClan fill up their fresh kill pile so that no one would go hungry, the problem was that she was far from camp and even burried the likelyhood of a predator coming to dig it up along the border was fairly high, and she hadn't brought anyone with her on her hunting expedition.
"Did you really catch all of that?" Planepaw paled as he saw Sorbetpeony's catch. He had been part of the same hunting patrol but hadn't had any luck so far. He'd gotten close a few times, but he had overshot the wren and the mouse had crawled straight through his paw-pad, not that anyone would believe it. The tortoiseshell tom shivered as a cold breeze blew through him and fought back the urge to sneeze, "If I didn't know better I'd say you've got to be an elemental. There's just now way a normal cat could bring so much back under these conditions..."

"Oh thank goodness that you are here!"she greeted the apprentice cheerfully, sounding more like an apprentice than a fully grown warrior "I did catch all this, but there Is no way I was going to get it back to camp on my own!!" She nudged his shoulder playfully at his comment of her being an elemental "See now your just being silly, I'm lucky is all! Now what do you say? I'll even let you claim it as your own catch if you want"
Planepaw blushed and pulled away from Sorbetpeony, not one to make eye contact or even answer things directly. He hated that about himself but hated his weird multi-colored eye even more. Any time a cat met his gaze they wouldn't look at him but at the glaring kaleidoscope, a question on their tongue, or maybe a judgement. Cats like him and his siblings were classified as Elementals at a glance although none of them really know what they were capable of if anything at all. So far Planepaw had nothing to show for it. He had nothing to show at all, magically or not. He wasn't a good Warrior, he'd never bring home a bounty like Sorbetpeony, "No, you caught it all, it's your prize. But I'll help you carry it back."

"Thank you" she chirped, moving forward as he pulled away until she gave him a swift swipe of her tongue across his cheek with a big grin on her face "You're my hero" she gave him space, moving to pick up some of the prey that she had caught and put it at his paws her tail quivering with excitment "You would actually be doing me a favor by claiming some of this" she paused to pick up her own share, tucking it under her chin so that she could still talk and place the rabbit onto her back "You see, like you other cats are starting to think im special, and if I bring this much prey in all on my own its just going to prove them right. Can't we say the hunting patrol caught it? I mean it wouldn't really be a lie since I'm part of the hunting patrol"
