Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Could you help out Chaoticpaw?" Luna practically whispered.
Luna was Eclipsepaw, or once was. She was a scottish fold with white fur and silvery tabby stripes. Her right eye was crystalline, but her left looked like an eclipse. Her tail was between her legs, she chose to go with her mom an abandon her whole life just to spared from the misery SunClan inflicted on DayClan. Now despite abandoning them, allowing them to suffer while she got better treatment did she come crawling back realizing she needed some help, "I messed up bad Chaoticpaw and I just need your help at our border... I-I chased a rabbit over the border and now I can't get it. If I don't get it SunClan might think bad of me and I already messed up since I first joined. I just don't want to be a screw up."
Her eyes were filled with tears, she hardly knew Chaoticpaw, but they shared the apprentice den together before all of this happened. Plus his mom was Voidedmemories so maybe he'd be helpful like her.
( for the sake of the situation between dayclan and sunclan, chaoticpaw is named chaos for now xD )
Chaos sniffed and fixed Luna with a rather apathetic stare. "Since when did I become the cat around here who has to fix everyone else's worthless mistakes?" Despite his harsh words and general disdain for his fellow apprentice, did he really have anything to lose by helping her out? If anything, he might be able to get a little leeway and stab her in the back later, or something.
His shoulders dropped and he gave a dramatic sigh. "What border did you chase it over, then?" he asked in a low tone, rising to his paws with a groan. "You chased it over to the DayClan side? Huh, better try to not look as if we're escaping or whatever, then."
Luna nodded along with him, "Can you please help me take it without being noticed? I really need to prove myself and if you do I'll catch you a rabbit too. Your own personal rabbit meal."
Luna took a breath and bounded into the snowy landscape that was left of DayClan. All that was in front of them was pure and utter white snow as far as the eye could see. There were light grey skies up ahead that seemingly blended into the snow making it hard to tell what was even the horizon. Off in the distance they could see a dark grey blizzard forming like a massive tornado, taller than any tree they've ever seen. Luna backed up for a moment, her eyes bigger than an owls, "The rabbit must have gone away from that storm. I mean it had to have, why would it go in there, right?"
"Because it wasn't a chicken like you, maybe?" Chaos snorted, launching into a particularly poor impression of a chicken. "Bok-bok-bok-bok-bok...C'mon, a rabbit isn't gunna know the storm'll kill him, the poor little guy. He obviously went right into it." Maybe if Luna went and got lost in the blizzard, he could claim she'd been disloyal to the Sun God and he'd killed her for it, or something similar that would no doubt earn him brownie points.
"WHAT!? Okay... We'll just go into that tornado... Of ice... And rock... And death..." Luna took a breath, "Okay..." She said in a small voice as she slowly neared the monstrous sized twister before looking back for Chaoticpaw, "Do you see it!?" She called over the winds.
Chaos gave a half-hearted attempt to look around before shrugging. "Nope," he called out over the sound of the storm, flinching when a tree branch whacked him in the face full force and almost took his eye out. "Just k-keep going," he added, trying to shield his face from the wind. "It has to be around here somewhere...Holy hell, that hurt. Listen, I might go back, but you just keep lookin' okay? I'll be watching from a safe distance, keeping guard or something," he said in a vaguely apologetic tone before frowning. "...Which way is back to SunClan?"
"WHAT! No! You can't leave me!" Luna said instantly tackling him to keep him from actually leaving her before magnetically moving his side, "Listen, let's retreat! That thing looks like what a torandos described to look like."
"Don't touch me," Chaos murmured, instinctively trying to shake the she-cat off him. "Fine, let's retreat then," he sneered, "but could you really live with yourself if you let that mouse, or deer, or whatever we're chasing - don't you think you'll be in a whole lot of trouble if you just let it go like this?"
"They're not going to kill me over it though! That blizzard will definitely murder me," Luna said with wide eyes, "I mean it's got you scared! That rabbit is on its own okay? It'll have to make it out of that tornado and into someone else's jaws, but it ain't gonna be mine if I have to go head first into that."
Chaos shrugged. "They might," he said, but didn't elaborate any further. "Go on then, which way is the way back? I'm still lost, and it's your fault, since you dragged me out here."
"oh my gosh you're right, it is my fault," Luna said, panic laced in her voice.
She turned back to him with an uneasy expression, "Hey um... I don't know the way back," She said weakly, the words barely coming out of her throat in realization of their situation.
"....Oh my god," Chaos muttered, dragging a paw down his face in disgust. "Well, if SunClan doesn't kill us for what appears to be an escape attempt, we'll die of starvation here, I guess. Okay then, let's just pick a direction and hope we don't get sucked up by the tornado. You pick first."
"Uh... Let's head... That way!" Luna said pointing to whiteness, but everything around them looked the same anyways.
She felt it had to be the way to MoonClan and she was either wrong or right. She gave a sheepish smile back to Chaos as if he would tell her if she was correct because somehow she still felt he mayyyy know the right direction.
Chaos squinted at Luna. "What're you doing?" he muttered, avoiding her gaze. "T-this is the right way, probably. Stop looking at me." In all truth, it didn't feel like the right way back to their new home at all, but it also didn't feel like the wrong way home - perhaps that was because Chaos didn't consider himself to have a home in the first place, but usually when he told people that they just stared at him and tried to back away. Actually, maybe he should tell Luna he didn't have a clue where they were going. "Or maybe it is wrong..."
"Okay okay, let's just go in my direction, at least then everything will be my fault and you don't have to be blamed," Luna said already heading off in the direction she had pointed to.
