Spring was surprised Rubyflame asked. Partially, because she'd been rather clear about feeling they should be dead, but also because she was genuinely asking her opinion. As odd memories faded, she looked at the pair, beaten, bruised, on the verge of death, her own paws wobbling as exhaustion overtook her. In many ways, she wasn't in much better shape than they, she just managed to push the pain away for a moment. Spots danced in and out of her vision as she turned her gaze not to the Immortal Council member or her relatives that may be dying, but to Senescence herself. A broken shell of a cat, one she didn't know, but she felt and understanding of. The others wouldn't know what sort of things ran in their minds, but Spring could see the very same things in the Lucifern the other had seen in her. In the heartbeats before she passed out, her voice was soft and smooth, and not the slightest bit merciful. "Whether they live or die doesn't matter to me, they're nothing to me anymore. But letting them live is a mercy they don't deserve, even still." And with that, the unsteady feline slumped to the ground, the last dregs of adrenaline that kept her on her paws leaving her system.
Sen watched Yuccablossom as she took the necklace and put it on. Her half blind gaze slowly closed and opened in a drawn out blink as the feline thanked her for doing the right thing. And then the world sped up, and a loud crack echoed throughout as Blazehowl's neck snapped under the weight of her paw, just as Spring fell to the ground. "Stop presuming you understand me." She told Yuccablossom simply, her voice a bored drawl, so close to normal, but not quite there that it set off uncanny valley vibes. The Proxy glanced at Lakeveil in the following silence, but she took a step away from the dead twin and the one who was still living, though it was hard to tell if she was unconscious, or just could not find it in her to voice a response to witnessing her other half killed.
"Wanderingwight defended Blazehowl and Lakeveil who were attacking Spring. Everyone was alive when I came to find you, but I don't know if they still are, I couldn't tell where Blazehowl began and Lakeveil ended..." Moltenpaw replied after catching his breath. He was a swift, long-legged tom, but he had forgotten to breathe as his frenzied pawsteps led him to Knightrunner's patrol, "Rubyflame..." He panted, "... She told me to send you to fetch Brakewings and Darkpaw. Everyone else," His kiwi green eyes scanned the rest of the patrol, particularly Solarpaw, and he felt immense pity for the young tom. His life would change forever today, "Should follow me."
Crack.
Yuccablossom froze for a moment then slowly lowered her front paws back down to the ground. She felt as if she had been plunged into ice water as elated joy turned into bitter horror. She cast her eyes downward and saw Blazehowl's neck twisted in an unnatural direction.
"Senescence!" Yuccablossom howled and suddenly all that ice turned to fire as a surge of energy burned through her body. The ground fell away from her as her limbs extended and her frame lengthened. In a mixture of confusion and rage she lifted her now over-sized paw and struck her aunt's flank with as much strength as she could muster, her goal being to just get her away, away from Blazehowl's body, Lakeveil, even Spring.
"How could you!?" Her voice was raw emotion, full of heartbreak and fueled by a sense of betrayal. The necklace that moments ago was oversized now fit just right and she met the Proxy's gaze at eye level, equal in size, no, slightly larger than her opponent, "He still had a chance to redeem himself! You don't have the right to take that away, no one does!"
Solarpaw's eyes widened. "Lakeveil and Blazehowl where attacking Spring?!" He cried aghast by this revelation. "Lead me to her! I need to see my sister and mom!" He cried. He couldn't believe it. He'd seen Spring getting beaten and hurt and had accepted what she'd said, too busy with his own training to pa it much mind... And he regretted it now.
Knightrunner didn't hesitate. "I will fetch Brakewings and Darkpaw immediately. Go. I'll follow your trail back to them," He instructed before darting off to head to camp.

Rubyflame went over to Spring's side considering her, grimacing as she was unsure if they could move her with her injuries. She paid no mind to Blazehowl's corpse and Lakeveil's body though. Spring had spoken. These cats were nothing to her and Rubyflame was more concerned with Spring's wellbeing than theirs. "Wanderingwight, do as you wish, I defer to you on this matter..." She meowed. She imagined for Wanderingwight to react as she was that there was some history Rubyflame didn't fully grasp. But for her to react like this. It meant she understood Spring's pain. And Rubyflame, who had nearly been drowned by the twolegs she'd trusted and loved, understood the need to never feel helpless or powerless again. She had only been drowned nearly once and survived and lived to get better. Spring had been hurt repeatedly. If Wanderingwight decided she wanted to spend the time crushing them under paw, Rubyflame wouldn't stand in her way.

Senescence's gaze descended on Yuccablossom, mismatched eyes, violent and blue, blind and broken. Empty. They were dead eyes, and for the moment it looked like she was less looking at her niece, and more seeing something else, someone else, standing in her place. A younger version of herself that was going to be broken by her beliefs, her insistence in a nonexistent good, blind denial of the bad and the realities of life. The larger she-cat before her didn't understand the pain she was going to bring on herself for it. "Your naivety will be the death of everything and everyone you hold dear." She stated simply, not even having attempted to stop the she-cat from clawing her, and despite the deep gash, Sen didn't even flinch. Rather, the she-cat spun, feeling the tear of the injury as the sudden movement only made it worse, her own blood pooling down to join that of the ones she'd harmed. Her claws dug into Yuccablossom's shoulders and she threw the she-cat right for Lucistic. "I recommend taking notes from your father and caring less, before you no longer have the ability to feel anything at all."
Yuccablossom stumbled even before she felt Sen's claws in her own shoulder, not expecting her aunt to lean into her claws and equally not used to the new proportions her body had taken. Regardless, her new mass seemed no more a challenge to move than when she was her normal size, and she found herself fully airborne as she was flung at Lucistic like a giant rag doll. Her flank slammed into his and she failed to regain her footing, especially with the earth blood-soaked beneath her paws, and she fell, hard, onto the forest floor. Dazed, she did not get back up on her feet right away, but she did level her hazel eyes at her aunt, "Caring less is leads to you thinking it's OK to watch bad things happen without lifting a paw. Eventually, you even start to do them yourself. But those sort of things are never acceptable, and you never really forget it either. That's what makes you lose the ability to feel, not naivety."
