Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

// simplylightJetclaw Figured this is a good time to have a thread with Shule and her newest Superiors. cx //
She'd asked the two to come and walk with her, leaving the Sentinels back in camp today. Shule highly doubted that either Superiors Undertow and Laurel would attack her, though if they did, she was also confident in her ability to take them on. That was a fleeting thought at best, however. Her daughter Laurel would never do something like that, the mostly ebony feline trusted her wholeheartedly. Undertow was a tad different, Shule didn't know him so well. He was quiet, and had clearly been through a lot. Quiet, however, was a quality the Commander could appreciate. She wasn't the chatty sort herself.
They walked topside today. It was a nice day. Overcast, but warm compared to the usual Regime temperatures. This was the one season of the year where the snow melted, leaving greenery to grow and prey to increase. Shule paused at one point, resetting a trap that had been tripped, but the prey must have been already taken by a member of the Regime, she could smell the group's scent, though it appeared the cat had been too lazy to do the work of setting the trap again themself.
"I appreciate you both taking on these responsibilities. I expect great things from you both." The crystalline eyed leader stated, her tone cool, but bearing a comfortable familiarity that struck one as something more than mere formality.
It had been unexpected to say the least when he was presented with the role of Mercenary Superior. He had been doing fairly well certainly, enough to earn his keep in the regime, but he hadn't thought he'd truly done anything noteworthy.
But he wasn't about to turn down the commander when she offered him the rank. Perhaps Gardenia would be pleased with him rising in the ranks, he had thought perhaps by putting a bit more effort he could gain equal rank to her. He hadn't expected Mercenary Superior.
"I will do everything I can to deliver commander," Undertow said respectfully, dipping his head to her. He glanced about the topside, even over the course of his time in the regime he still liked the surface, if only for the bodies of water.

Laurel dipped her head as well, still in shock that she was chosen for Scout Superior as well. She had never been the type to shoot for high ranks or work hard for the sake of power, but that was one of the reasons she was probably picked. Her clear mind and ability to lead others without trampling over them were qualities that were admirable in the cocoa-furred feline. "Of course. I will try my best to not let you down." She responded after Undertow, a slight purr in her voice. There was no doubt she admired her step-mother even after everything that had happened in their life. Her eyes fell for a moment on the white ribbon wrapped around her paw and she smiled. Plumamine was probably boasting about her to the other ancestors right as they spoke and the thought warmed her heart.
