Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. So, Ryoma had an apprentice, huh? Some other cats in the Clan would say that Ryoma wasn't ready for the responsibility but he begged to differ. He hadn't been a Follower for more than a couple of moons so being awarded Bramblepaw was proof that Leviathan recognizing his prowess. Only cats in the upper echelon could defeat him in battle and he was better than most at pretty much everything else.
"Alright, Bramblepaw, for your first day of training we are going to do a mock spar," Ryoma explained. He had promptly lead his apprentice to the training hollow right after the ceremony. Go big or go home was his logic; surely the other mentors were doing a camp tour or simple hunting patrol, but that wasn't Ryoma's way, "I want you to come at me with all you've got. You can use your claws if you want, but know that, if you do, so will I."
