Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
There was something to be said for the Sun God's ability to ignore all irrelevant things in his life. Including his sister. Who, as it just so happened, he'd found out was his sister and not brother. You'd think after a few lifetimes, he'd have picked that up, but no, this was news to him. Whatever, just went to show how useless his sister was, that she couldn't even be present long enough for him to realize she was a completely different gender. Mostly, the deity just has no ability whatsoever to admit any personal fault in it all, his arrogance didn't allow it.
At least he had reason to be arrogant nowadays. He'd eaten Absum Lux's deity Wanheda, and more recently, had promoted two of the 'miracle' children he'd created, who had started an apocalyptic event in SunClan and DayClan, to the rank of deities themselves! Of course, he was quite irritated that they seemed to be doing exactly the opposite of what he'd said. He'd demanded that Bluejay and Pandora turn DayClan to him, and they were trying to usurp him and make themselves the goddesses of the clan! After he'd split the power he'd gotten from Wanheda between them too. Ugh. Apparently he'd forgotten his own rule about giving out immortality and superpowers.
Speaking of irritating things, where was his sister anyhow? He'd practically been waltzing over the farthest edges of her skies for a good hour now, tiptoeing the line between crossing and not, occasionally jumping over, sometimes stepping back, the like. The typical tactics to try and annoy someone on a godly level.
It had been quite some time since the snowy she-cat had seen her brother, and some how she still wasn't surprised to see him jumping to and fro across the border like a troublesome kit. She chuckled to herself at the thought, knowing full well he wouldn't appreciate the simile. It had taken Selene awhile to return to her chosen clan after having left to go find the right cat to lead them. It was becoming painfully apparent that her clan couldn't be trusted to self govern as she had originally thought. She was back now, and this time she wasn't going anywhere any time soon. That unfortunately, also meant spending more time with her not so favorite brother.
"Hello brother mine, care to enlighten me as to why you're frolicking about our borders like a kit?" She asked, unable to hide the amusement in her tone. Last time they'd interacted it hadn't gone over well but maybe this time would go better?
