Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The forest was silent today. An almost unsettling peace had fallen over the woods; a dark grey blanket of clouds covered the evening sky, no birdsong could be heard, and not even the whispering winds or waving branches of leaves made a sound. It was almost unsettling for the poor she-cat that wandered along on the very edge of the treeline. She wasn't used to being alone for this long, with nothing but the soft, tiny twinkling of the bell on her collar to comfort her. But in spite of all her instinct begging her to run away, she refused to turn around.
She was already so far from home. It was very likely that she wouldn't get this chance again. This was something she had to do. To give her some peace of mind.
Lifting her head she sniffed the air. Aside from all the unfamiliar feline scents around her, she also noticed the thick smell of oncoming rain in the air. With a sigh, the young kittypet silently hoped her mate and kits had found themselves a suitable shelter already. The minutes seemed to stretch on as she continued on her hike, stopping every so often to sniff the air to check she was headed in the right direction. Her mate's siblings seemed very certain with their directions, so she had to trust them. Suddenly, she stopped. Her ears lifted as the sound of nearly pawsteps...from multiple creatures, filled the air.

Sentinel Gardenia let out a tired sigh as she led her small patrol towards the border with rouge territory, taking an annoyed glance up at the sky every few seconds. It had already been a long day, she really didn't need to get rained on to top it off. "You know, we'd get this done faster if you actually moved your furry behind for once," the blonde she-cat groaned, glancing over her shoulder at her partner with a sharp glare, only to find the older tom stopped in his tracks, staring out towards something. "Oh for the love of--what is it, Sean?" Swiftly turning around, she marched back to her fellow Sentinel, following his gaze to...a kittypet? Yeah, though the trees prevented her from getting a good look at them, the collar was obvious. What was a kittypet doing all the way out here, a good day's walk from the nearest twolegplace?
Her first instinct was the chase the stranger off, or imprison them, as was Commander Mars' new policy. But as she approached closer, the horribly scarred she-cat realized that this kittypet really wasn't in the Regime territory at all, but was rather wandering lost just outside of it. Now, this was just weird. Gardenia exchanged a look with Sean. "Any ideas?"
