The drop of rain water in the stream, the rustle of leaves on a stormy day. The mouse hiding from its predator, the predator chasing its prey. A picture is worth a thousand words, but those words change with each story. Which is reality? Which is fake? Vision and sight. They are a simple sense, something that most cats have. Something that most take advantage of. Do they truly see the world for what it is? Perhaps the blind are the ones who see the most. Maybe those gifted with sight are the ignorant ones. The lucky ones. Who truly wants to see the world? Each little movement, unseen. Every tiny ant, ignored. Even something as big as a tree, often overlooked. Things that you would never even guess would be important, end up being life changing. This is the training that was pushed into Glaniur, to never ignore a single detail. Be aware of everything, as a blind cat would if they were given the chance. Overlooking a single fact could be deadly. Each sound, each movement. Take it all in, and think. Be tactical. Surprise your enemy with the obvious. Or the unexpected. After all, no one would expect to be beaten in a fight by a former kittypet. Not all kittypets have an easy life, however. Some are tortured, abused, even when a young kit. There was no love to be found by his twolegs, and so it was little surprise that Glaniur took the first chance he could get to escape. Even as a kit, he was always watching for an opening. It was that habit of his that made a small group of rogues take him in to train. The young tom learned every skill he knows from them, but at a cost. They were rogues. Untrustworthy, dangerous. Even for a kit. Sometimes, Glaniur wondered which life was better. The rogues knew no mercy. It was enough to turn a kit into someone else. They abused him much like the twolegs. But, he had freedom. He was offered knowledge. So, he went along with the training until the rogues abandoned him. The day they vanished was the day Glaniur officially gained freedom. He was no longer at the mercy of others, bent and beaten to their will. He was finally able to look after himself. Yet, he still ended up in a clan, following another’s orders. It was an odd thing, for a cat with no more trust to give, ending up in a clan. He makes no secret of his hatred for others, just as most cats do with kittypets and rogues. But, sometimes it’s easy to forget. After all, he seems to turn everything into a joke, responding to most things with a sarcastic remark. It’s curious, however, how Glaniur never throws his looks around. His speckled black face, covering his cream colored pelt, and his icy clear eyes, he’s not too hard to look at. But, Glaniur seems to not take a romantic interest in anyone.
Why is your character worthy of this position?
lessons were literally beat into him, forcing him to excel in most things from a young age. he's also been leader before, and has traveled through many clans, so he has a lot of knowledge. i describe him as a tactician, as he's more brains than brawn, so he's a wonderful adviser.
How does your cat's personality interact with the personalities of the leader, deputy, and medicine cat?
LEATHERSTAR – honestly glaniur totally respects leatherstar, which would be why he would be willing to be an adviser, but also finds him quite interesting. leatherstar might find glaniur annoying (bc who doesn't tbh)
FROZENREQUIEM – they both hate everyone & will bond over that. they could have a lot of fun bickering with each other, but totally wouldn't let each other know they actually enjoy it. maybe. glaniur does like to show people he's having fun when bickering just to make the other cat more upset oops.
MISTYVEIL – oh boy talking about bickering, i could totally see glaniur poking the beast with this one.
What position do you desire? Keeper
(will probably edit this for the interactions at a later date once i learn more about each cat)
Bio: Snakefang is a gray tom with horizontal zig-zag stripes that are a darker shade of grey, almost black. He is the owner of a pair of light green eyes and large fangs, resembling that of a strike serpent. Just like the terrain he grew up in, he's a little rough around the edges, but he's not all that bad of a tom. Willing to take on the tasks that others would rather not do, he's not afraid to get his paws dirty. He's not afraid to speak his mind when the situation calls for it, but he usually keeps to himself, but dont let that deceive you. Deep down inside, though, he loves to train, especially for fights. Conflict seems to fascinate him, but not in the twisted way that seems to consume other cats, although he does have moments. He's mostly battle smart, but still able to compete mentally with the best of them. Loyal to his clan, he wants to be the best he can be and a reliable defender of WinterClan.
I believe Snakefang is worthy because of being a Guardian because he is battle-hardened and experienced. With that, he can extend his knowledge and expertise to those around him.
How does your cat's personality interact with the personalities of the leader, deputy, and medicine cat?
LEATHERSTAR – Snakefang is a dutiful cat so I believe that he will loyally follow the new leader and carry out any tasks that he needs to be done.
FROZENREQUIEM – Since they're similar in some aspects, I believe that an official interaction would make for an interesting roleplay. He isnt a pushover so there might be a conflict in how they interact with one another since Frozenrequiem only knows how to assert dominance over those under her. But, maybe, he'll find a way to befriend the deputy to some degree.
MISTYVEIL – Snakefang doesnt necessarily think that the medicine cats are useful since most cats should be able to deal with the pain of wounds, but he recognizes their importance so he would be respectful towards her.
If there was an ice warrior princess, Frostcloud would be the very painted picture of what one would look like. Pure snowy white fur, gray ears, crystal blue eyes that seem to cut straight through to one's very soul, and a very elegant disposition. However, looking like an angel sent directly down from heaven, she is a little rough around the edges. More like an icecyle. Beautiful to look at, but dangerously edgy. She is highly skilled in battle with sharp crisp movements and great reflexes. One would be smart not to challenge such a driven She-cat. Cats often flinch at the coldness of her gaze and as threatening as she may look, her respect for her leader is high. She is considered a soldier that knows how to take orders and do them well. She is very trustworthy and honest. A perfect soldier with fierce loyalty.
Why is your character worthy of this position?
- Frostcloud is very smart, clever, trustworthy, and fiercely loyal. She's strong and skilled in battle and will make a great protector.
How does your cat's personality interact with the personalities of the leader, deputy, and medicine cat?
LEATHERSTAR – she used to have a major crush on Leatherstar a long time ago. She respects him greatly.
FROZENREQUIEM – I deleted Frostcloud a long time ago but I may bring her back especially if she gets this position so I'm not sure how she would do with her but I think I may have her envy Frozenrequiem because she is close to Leatherstar and Frostcloud wants to be
MISTYVEIL – I never had them interact either but I don't think Frostcloud would have a problem with Mistyveil. Frostcloud has respect for medicine cats
What position do you desire? (Head Hunter/Keeper, Head Prison Guard/Guardian)
The powerful tom commands respect from his clan-mates, without so much as a whispered word. His cold gaze is enough to silence most that oppose him. Goldenlion has an intimidating stature. He is tall with broad-shoulders that is covered in a velvet layer of long grey fur. Streaks of stark white intertwine with the gray, like clouds hovering in a mountain range. The intense gaze of his yellow eyes flecked with green, are enough to stop most cats in their tracks. His large muscular body is part of the reason that cats are so intimidated by his presence, but the true secret lies in the way he carries himself and his decisive actions. When Goldenlion makes a threat, he will go through with it with all the brutality that it entails. He leaves no room for doubt in the minds of his clan-mates, that he means every word that he utters. A lion always pay their debts. Goldenlion was once the leader of WinterClan, although he did not remember that until recently. He was reborn into a rouge family, a chance to redeem himself granted to him by StarClan so that he could share his wisdom and experience to guide WinterClan into a better future. StarClan's one condition? He would not be allowed to become leader in this second life he had been granted. He stumbled into WinterClan's territory while out hunting, and began having visions and flashbacks of his former life. Unable to explain why he was drawn to this place, he joined the clan as a runaway in the hopes that more would be revealed as time went along. Once he was made into a marquess, his memories of his first life came flooding back. Noe he is still trying to find his place in the clan that he once ruled.
Traits: intimidation +, knowledge of clan history +, strength+, fighting techniques+, - nimble, -knowledge of prey, - knowledge of healing, -swimming techniques
Why is your character worthy of this position? I wouldn't exactly say that he is worthy, but Goldenlion has been through a lot, and this is second chance to do something good for WinterClan. In this life I really want him to make a difference, and I feel like that once his granddaughter takes over eventually that he could help protect her from some of the more distastefully things that are required to be a strong leader. He is slowly changing into a different cat, and one day my hope he will can have a more honorable death than last time. Perhaps giving up his life for love or for family, instead of choosing violence.
How does your cat's personality interact with the personalities of the leader, deputy, and medicine cat?
LEATHERSTAR – Honestly his relationship with Leatherstar will be sort of complicated. He would support his leadership for three reasons. The first is that he would rather do his work for WinterClan from behind the scenes. The second is the promise that one of his grandchildren will eventually take on WInterClan's leadership. The third being, Leatherstar will eventually earn his respect. It will be a rocky road to acceptance, but I believe that in time the two of them could learn to get along and actually work quite well together.
FROZENREQUIEM – Frozenrequiem is his second chance at love, a chance to use the experiences he gained in his first life to set another cat on a path to a better life.(not going into to much detail here, as we have already talked about it on another thread)
MISTYVEIL – Mistyveil and Goldenlion also have a complex relationship XD He brought her in as his medicine cat, but also ended up imprisoning her towards the end of his life as he started to spiral. I would hope that she would see him beginning to change and that they could make amends. (Then again if she can forgive Leatherstar for the death of her daughter, then it may not be that big of a dealXD)
