Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Leatherstar was determined to get to know his deputy a little more. He had after all done to her exactly as Understar had done to him. Chosen her unexpectedly out of a crowed. It was her acknowledgement of his past and seeing him for the leader he had tried to hard to be. He always thought he was doing the right thing. But recent event had proven that so wrong. He padded from his den at the base of the gathering stone and padded through the camp in search of that thick winterclan pelt.
Frozenrequiem was lounging upon a flat rock that sat adjacent to the leader's den, her eyes closed as she tried her best to get some sleep. As Deputy now, she couldn't sleep outside of the camp anymore like she had been doing; so she chose to sleep on this rock, out in the open. She had stayed up the previous night, patrolling the borders and marking them for nobody had seemed to have done that for a while. Things have really fallen apart at WinterClan with no leader or deputy, and Frozenrequiem hadn't realized it until now.
Leatherstar's musky scent filled the air and Frozenrequiem lifted her head, blinking open pretty amber orbs as she peered around for any sign of him. Alas, there he was, standing in the middle of camp, looking like a complete fool as he looked around. Lifting herself from her place upon the rock, she shook her fur of any new snow that had dare clung to her pelt. Frozenrequiem slipped from off of said rock and stalked quietly towards Leatherstar, being sure not to alert him to her presence. She wanted to make him jump. It was funny, for she was only a half of an inch taller than him; she was quite the large she-cat. She lowered herself onto her haunches as she sat behind him, her tail curling over her paws as she let out a soft mrrow.

Leatherstar was a little more self aware than Frozenrequiem knew. Moons upon Moons of sneaking in and out of foreign territories made one fully aware of their surroundings. She had a lot to learn. Leatherstar flicked his ear. "Lets go for a walk. We could both use one." he said as he turned around and gave her a wink with one emerald eye. He trotted for the entrance to camp, his tail flicking in invitation.
To say Frozenrequiem was offended by Leatherstar's self-awareness was an understatement. She grunted in frustration and rose from her place upon the ground, following Leatherstar to the entrance of camp. A walk does sound nice, She thought, yet remained silent, awaiting for Leatherstar to make the next move.

As he wound his way down the mountain he was aware of her presence close behind despite her lack of openness. "I am sorry if my appointing you as deputy upset you. It is a position you can turn down if you wish. But I felt StarClan wanted me to choose you." he meowed keeping his eyes steady on the path and his voice low.
