Acornkit gave a small smile, it was like getting a surprise waiting to see which flower you would end up with. That excited her. She turned her head and opened her mouth to ask another question but stopped as she noticed Venuskit had closed his eyes and his breathing had grown deeper in sleep. "Oh." Curling her feathered tail up she brushed her denmates shoulder softly before curling up at his side, her spiked pelt just barley brushing his as she let her eyes drop closed, sleep surrounding her.
"I can see if Papa Doestar will get us some seeds to plant." A new voiced called from the entrance of the tiny garden. Standing in the entryway was Batkit. The small smoked color tom had a bright yellow flower tucked behind his ear that day. His gaze fell on the sleeping forms of Venuskit and Acornkit. "You guys fell asleep ?" He whispered to himself.

Acornkits head popped up, she had dozed slightly but as usual she was unable to truly sleep and decided instead to just lay curled next to Venuskit as he slept afraid he would get cold if she moved. "Shhhh." She had attempted to hush Batkit as quietly as she could, but it was much louder than she wanted. The she-cat looked at the tom that lay beside her and slowly moved away from him, she stood and padded over to Batkit. "He is just taking a nap, you can't be too loud though because he doesn't like it." She remembered when she had first arrived and Venuskit had hid and yelled at her to go away.
Glancing back to be sure she didn't wake him she smiled and turned to nudge Batkit. "Do you think Doestar can get us some pretty flower seeds?" There was joy in her green eyes at the thought of bringing some back to put in the garden.
Shifting in his sleep, Venuskit awoke to another new voice. He popped his head up, looked at the strange new kit, and noticed the flower on his head. Bouncing to his paws, Venuskit stood just behind Acornkit, so he was somewhat shielded from the kits gaze. “I like the plants!” He said, jumping on the spot. “New seeds! New seeds!”
"Did someone say plants?" Came a small voice, and out into the den stepped a small, cappuccino brown she-kit, with darker tabby stripes and leaf green eyes. Her fur was long and groomed to perfection, seeming to sparkle in the light that was shining through. She was only around a moon, maybe two moons old. She hadn't really conversated with the kits of SummerClan yet, having spent most of her time within the Clan in the Medicine Cat's quarters. "I love plants! Especially flowers, passion flowers to be exact. Have you ever seen one?"
Rosekit blinked when Batkit asked about talking to Doestar. "I don't think that would be a good idea," she mewed quietly to her brother. "What if he doesn't want us to have a garden? We need to keep it secret. We can find seeds on our own," she meowed quietly. Concern was seldom a characteristic of her voice, but concern laced these words.
This concern was adverted for a second when flowers came up. "Flowers?" she purred hopefully. Her brother was a plant boy, and she was a flower girl. "I've never seen a passion flower. Is it pretty?"
Blinking his eyes in interest, Venuskit leaned forward. “No Passion flower.” He shook his head, gazing sadly at his garden. He didn’t want Doestar to take away his garden, and even the thought of such made his heart hurt. He so wanted to find more seeds, to plant more, but his fear of what lay outside camp twisted in his stomach. He didn’t want to go out, but he didn’t want to stay in either. Hating feeling so conflicted, he clawed at the ground in anger, turning up the grass just beside the garden.

Peachkit yawned, stretched, and climbed out of the nest that she shared with her siblings. Already full of energy, she ran out of the nursery and towards the voices of the other kits. “OOOH!! I wanna go out!” She bounced on the stop. “Out—out—out.” She repeated, shaking her head uncontrollably. “I’m not big on the plant thing, but I wanna explore.”
