Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. All night, she had been tossing and turning. The nest that was once the comfiest place on Earth, had now become the most despicable thing she could ever even think of. She didn't know why, or how, or what had changed, but it was enough to make Cassie shoot up from her nest with an irritated sob. When she began to poke around, she noticed someone had stuck twigs into her nest, and fury flared within her heart. "Who did this?!" She cried out, not caring who she woke up; it was dawn-break, anyhow. "Who put twigs in my nest?!"
"Some of us are sleeping!" Ares-tyke called from the next nest over, his black furred head popping up over the nest. His mother wasn't there to chastise him- as Chaman, she now slept in Headquarters, so he could look at the other tyke with his one brown, one green eye, whiskers bent at awkward angles from his slumber. "It wasn't me, so don't go waking me up for it."

Cassie grimaced at Ares' voice, and she tried her hardest to not roll her eyes, she truly did, but she found them turning in their sockets like it was a reflex. "You saying it wasn't you just makes you my first suspect, pal," Cassie countered, standing from her nest and glaring over at Ares. The gray-and-ginger tabby she-cat's hackles were raised, yellow eyes glowing amidst the darkness.
