Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
“So, as I was saying, because everyone has failed epically I am now in charge.”
The white tom walked alongside the golden tom through what was known as WinterClan territory. His sapphire blue eyes were trailing along snow laden logs and tree limbs.
“I mean it was definitely something that I wasn’t expecting to have or want but now that I have it I mean I might as well just use it right?”
"Attractive... If you are referring to having beneficial qualities or features that induce someone into accepting what is being offered than I suppose you are....your highness" he replied his tone even, as if he were bored with the subject. However the tom had said one thing correct, with all the recent failings in WinterClan it was little wonder that StarClan had decided to bring him back to reign in the chaos and bring the clan back into greatness.
The cat before him had many qualities that would make him a terrible leader. He was flirtatious, emotional, and utterly lacking in ambition. However, it wasn't all bad. Such a leader would make it rather easy for him to being his work behind the scenes until the time was ripe to seize control for himself.
"You were able to convince others to accept your leadership after all" he added after a few moments of silence had settled in between them.
“Were you struck by the supernatural and suddenly lost your senses that day or have you been listening to everyone mutter and whisper?” He turned back to the trail. “If you have, I’ll need their names. I’m not going to let some cracked fools spread lies.”
He rolled his neck and popped it. “My mother was a terrible she-cat. She made my life a mess from the minute I left her and became my own. Diamondstar was a successful sovereign, of that I’m certain, but like I’m sure you’re convinced of me, I was convinced she lacked the traits necessary to continue to lead with the energy she’d given. When she left... I knew my intuition hadn’t failed.”
He weaved around a fallen log.
“Blizzardglow wasn’t around long enough for me to get a good read, but the fact that she disappeared shortly after having been promoted spoke volumes.”
He stopped and turned to the tom.
“I respect you, Goldenlion. You were a successful and honored leader, once. But I don’t appreciate your ego. We may not like each other. We may think we can gain the upperhand of one another. But in the end, what is real is what is real. And what is real is that I am sovereign, for no other reason than because I was voted into my position, due to my relation to Valleystar and the relationship I held with Diamondstar.”
His eyes narrowed. “If you believe differently and that I am unsuited for my position, I can give you only one piece of advice: Leave. I won’t let you stand in my way. You can crawl, instead.”
He turned and padded away. “Besides, I’m not surprised you don’t find me attractive. That’s alright. I don’t find you attractive either.”
