Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
In which Ghoulmask and Mistyveil go on a date-that’s-not-a-date ‘cuz Ghoul’s a persistent fox and proceeds to ask Mistyveil a lot of invasive questions.
“I’ll pick you up at sundown, alright, we’ll go to this really nice place out by the border, you’ll love it.” He had steamrolled her before she’d managed to get a word in edgewise, turning and padding back to his den – oh StarClan, was it weird to think of the leader’s den as his – and gotten himself ready. It was an impromptu date, but one that he was looking forward to if only to see just what kind of conflict he’d stir up because of it. He knew the Witch was mated. He had no issue with that. He wasn’t actually interested in having a romance with her. He just enjoyed the chaos that sprung up because of it.
So when sundown came around, he trotted happily to the medicine den and cleared his throat. “Mistyveil, are you ready to go? We don’t want to lose our reservation.”
Ghoulmask was her sixth leader while she was medicine cat and her eleventh leader as a member of WinterClan. Understar had been a pain in her rear, Leatherstar was probably at the top of her hit list, Sweetpine would have to be second place on that hit list, Valleystar was forgettable to her, Diamondstar was... Polite. And now there was Ghoulmask, his charisma was kind like Leatherstar's, hopefully he didn't start sacrificing cats like him. That would be a shame if she had a third leader on her hit list, not that this was even a threat. She never got around to murdering anyone, except for that time she murdered her entire family. Back then she was a real go getter, got things done, now a days it was always I'll go to bed early tomorrow, I'll kill him some other days, I'll raise my kid better when I'm not tired, I'll remember the right medication for the next living patient. Things never seemed to happen now, until today that is where Ghoulmask told her they were going on a randevu to some soirée. This came off suspicious to her, probably because every medicine cat she knew of before her had been murdered or met an untimely demise typically by WinterClan themselves. She wasn't about to let her guard down, Ghoulmask was newly in charge, maybe he was going to try to replace her. Lots of accidents could happen on a mountain.
With this in mind Mistyveil spun on her toes as he approached to take her on their unforgettable night, "Okay, I'm ready, but I want you to know that if you are taking me to a secluded area to off me, I have poison on my claws and I won't go down without a fight," Mistyveil said seriously in her typical monotone voice.
“Off you?” He repeated silently, only the movement of his mouth revealing his utter confusion. Well that and the complicated eyebrow dance currently taking place on his face. Of all things he’d been considering, murder wasn’t one of them.
He looked over at her. “Do you regularly get death threats or something?”
He swept a paw forward toward a log, where a pile of pre-hunted prey sat. There were large leaves underneath them and one leaf on either side, to serve as their plates.
He took his seat on one side of the log and cleared his throat, adjusting his position.
