Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The multi-colored furred tom stumbled his way through the thick evergreen forest, pawsteps clumsy as he moved along. Still adjusting to being blind in his left eye and struggling to adjust. Spite and hate set him back, everytime he sat to take a moment to try and just learn memories of his siblings faces had him overtaken by anger and unable to continue trying to take a quite moment to sort himself out. It didn't help that the league currently didn't have a shaman to help him either so the young tom had to struggle through an infection alone that was clearing up only because Morgana had taken pity on him. Morningpaw hated this, hated how weak he was and hated how his past still plagued him so. Despite the lengths he was going to erase it away, joining the league and moving as far from the clan he was from as he could.
Despite it all he found himself unable to change his name when asked even knowing it would cause more grief for him in the long run. What did it matter he supposed seeing as he was already struggling.
"You're floundering worse than a newborn kit." Senescence knew blindness. She had gone through the exact same scenario as Morningpaw, facing an injury that rendered her left eye blind. Unlike him, however, she didn't have the luxury of even being taken pity on when it had happened. But that was irrelevant now, wasn't it? The Proxy had proven herself a dozen times over that even such a disability didn't hinder her. The heavily scarred feline had survived more than twice as long as most within the group, Nemesis included, and so most knew not to bother her. Not that it ever stopped her from deciding to interact with others, on the rare occasion she chose to do so. At least now she had the excuse of rank on her side. The other districts didn't want to talk to her, lest she pry their secrets from them, and that was just fine with her, usually. But sometimes, it was good to have it be known that she should generally not be ignored, even if she didn't reign over the League member in question. "Keep on like that, and a fox will get you in no time at all."

"A fox would be a welcome reprieve." Morningpaw responded casting a narrowed eye glance in her direction. "At-least I would know the danger of the fox. Whereas with all these new league mates I find myself second guessing every interaction. But I suppose kindness if better left beyond these borders." He laughed, but it was a bitter cracking sound. Even Morgana had required a favor from him before she had helped him fight the infection. He hated it as much as he found it refreshing. "Who are you again? I must apologize for not quite knowing everyone yet." He only knew mother who had taken one look at him and shrugged before walking off with a dismissive 'you can stay'.
"Name's Senescence. And yours is Morningpaw, not that's it's exactly hard to pinpoint the only League cat to keep a clan name." The Proxy didn't bother to explain further. Either he'd have picked up by now who she was, or it didn't matter, did it? What use was the title of Proxy to a cat who was still so attached to his old home? "Since you seem so keen on predators over the rest of the League, why don't we go and find some?"

"I was perhaps being factitious but I suppose you're the big boss." Morningpaw replied with a narrowed look, conceding to her. There would be perhaps no harm in joining her on a little fox hunting, maybe they would take his other eye and he could rid himself the problem of adjusting to one sided vision. Besides, spending time with the Internal Affairs proxy hunter would help towards him making a decision of what division to join. He had yet to be cornered towards a decision yet but he felt the pressure to choose would likely arrive soon. "Do you happen to know where some predators are then?"
