Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Things had been hectic here lately. The war with SunClan was rough on everyone, but at this point, Mars could see no other option. If he released Foxstar now, she would only wreak havoc on everyone around her and SunClan would be more likely to attack them than they already were. Today, he was taking a break. It was mostly because he had been forced to do so. He would have preferred to be working on the war and planning the Regime's next move, but Venus had managed to convince him that rest would do him some good. Even so, he had no idea what to do. Now that his and Momi's tykes were cadets, he couldn't really visit them in Post Kilo like he used to and he didn't want to pester Momi when she would finally be able to have a moment to herself. This was why he was just sitting in Headquarters while he absentmindedly swatted at a pebble that had been resting between his paws.

"I didn't think a cat could actually die from boredom but, you look pretty dang close." Conrad snickered as he approached his commander. The golden tom eyed the pebble the other had been playing with with a curious gleam in his eye. Between Limavady's trial and the on going war with Sunclan the Scout Superior couldn't help but be worried too. It was a lot to adjust to all at once but, he thought he was doing well enough. Still he couldn't help but wonder if Mars had been right to pick him. Sure he met the qualifications but was that enough? Pushing the doubt from his mind he focused again on Commander Mars. "Come on, it looks like you could use a bit of fresh air." He beckoned with his tail for Mars to follow as he headed for the exit.
The large black tom honestly hadn't expected anyone to take notice of him. When he saw that it was Conrad, he offered the other tom a sheepish grin. "Well...Venus convinced me to take the day off, but I honestly don't know what to do with myself. Things have been pretty much nonstop since I became Commander." It hadn't even been that long ago now that he thought about it. In the short time he had been at the head of the Regime, so much had happened. Perhaps a day off wouldn't be so bad...Well that was if he wasn't so bored. He rose to his paws to follow Conrad after a moment. He supposed a bit of fresh air wouldn't hurt at this point. It was better than staying down here for the rest of the day at least.

"You look like you need one." He snickered as he lead the commander out of the tunnels. He could hardly see a mouse length in front of him but, he had memorized the tunnels at this point and didnt need to see. He blinked a couple of times as his eyes adjust to the sun's light as they stepped out of the tunnels. The fresh air would fo them both some good. Besides, it was rare he got to speak with Mars, something that hed been meaning to change as of late. "Well seeing as it's your day off, you get to decide what we do, the only rule is that whatever it is can't be inside the tunnels." There was faint amusement in the golden tom's tone as he turned to look at his companion. "Oh and it has to be something you find fun."
"I don't look that bad do I?" Mars shook his head. He had thought he had done a pretty good job of putting on his best face for the majority of the Regime. While it was true that he did slip sometimes since no one was perfect, he hadn't thought it would be all that obvious. "You want me to pick something fun?" He frowned at this. He didn't really take much time for himself at this point. He never had really. What exactly would he consider fun? Maybe just something he did to relax? "Do you realize how long it's been since I've actually took a day off? I'm used to spending any free time I had in Post Kilo. The tykes are cadets now though..." He gave Conrad a sheepish smile. "I suppose I'm going to have to find another way to spend my free time."
