The short, jet-black mercenary spent most of her days patrolling or honing her skills. Beryl had come to be known for her fierce tongue and sharp claws in battle. She had been trained by the Commander and practically raised by his family, so there was no doubt about her skill yet for most of her life, she had been underestimated due to her size. The Sunclan battle had finally won her some more respect. She flexed her claws into the hard stone beneath them. Tensions were high and they would need to be ready for an attack. She knew that she should relax and she almost willed it, but it was difficult to find anything to ease her mind.
