Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She had gone completely mad, and this time she had nobody to blame but herself. Sure, Mikos was a bad influence. He always has been and always would be, but this time it wasn't his idea to go out late at night like last time. "I've completely lost it. Papa is going to kill me." Veria hissed to herself as she took the same path that her and Mikos had taken only a few days prior.
I could get caught any minute now.
The adrenaline coursed through her veins and her heart beat against her chest at the thought. This feeling was the whole reason she had chosen to sneak out again. It was exhilarating, even though she felt terrible afterwards when it was all over. She'd have to sneak back into the nest of her sleeping father, often times waking him from slumber. He'd groggily asked where they had-in this case she had- been and she would lie. "I was hungry." She say, and he'd buy it. Would there ever come a day when he wouldn't?
She realized now that she had walked further then she had before with her brother. The snow under paw becoming less and less until she found herself in an unfamiliar area where it was slightly warmer and a unique scent hit her nostrils. "I didn't know Winterclan had a place with no snow..." She whispered to herself.
Vis was humming to himself as he padded carelessly through their forest. He wasn't exactly allowed outside of the tunnels yet but, his mother was so busy lately that he often found it easy to slip away from the raisers when they were asleep. The young calico kit clearly had to fear of getting caught, so long as he didn't leave his territory how much trouble could he really get into? A great thought in theory but, completely wrong in practice, considering he didn't know the territory outside the tunnels, or really even outside his den.
Still he didn't seem very worried about getting lost, not even when the air grew chilly as he pressed on. The scents seemed completely foreign to him here and finally, that little voice in the back of his mind told him to go no further. To turn back and go back home, and he turned to do just that when the tyke picked up a fresh scent. It wasn't one he recognized by any means and even he didn't want to risk running into a stranger out here but, if he was still in Regime territory he had the right to defend it didn't he?
"Who goes there?" he called out, doing the best he could to sound intimidating.
The voice from the forest startled her and she took a conscious step backwards as her fur bristled.
Oh crud. Someone found me.
Every instinct told her to turn tail and run. The last thing she needed was to be caught and to face the wrath of her father, but instead she found herself frozen in place. This scent was different. Certainly not the scent of a Winterclan warrior. Was this the scent of another clan cat? Curiosity had now peaked her interested.
"Who are you first?" She hissed out, trying her best to sound intimidating as well.
"I am Viserion, future mercenary of the regime. you are trespassing on our land." he called out, stepping out of the bushes, chest puffed out in an attempt to look bigger than he was. He almost visibly deflated when he saw the 'intruder' in question. "Oh..." he sounded puzzled. "Well this is awkward. I was excepting... well some one bigger at least..." he chuckled softly.
She was also expecting someone much bigger. Her eyes blinking in surprise as the tiny tom came through the bushes with chest puffed out, although under the brave facade she could see the tom slightly quivering before realizing she was simply a kit herself. The startled expression dripped off her and was replaced with chuckles at the entire situation. Her shrieks of laugher echoing through the area around them as struggled to breathe through it.
Viserion was actually offended for about 0.2 seconds before he let out a mrrow of laughter. Chuckling he closed the distance between them, coming to stand in front of Veria. βSome intruder you turned out to be. Though you never did tell me your name, too busy laughing I see.β He meowed, keeping up with his βintimidatingβ voice, though now it was all in good fun.
