Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Snakefang sat just outside of the camp clearing, observing what was going on around him. There wasnt much going on in that day, it appeared, but that didnt seem to bother him much. It was probably better that way, anyhow. Times like this, it allowed him to think of what was next for him. He wouldnt consider himself a loner, but most of time, he found himself alone. But with that, he was being productive to bettering himself so when the time comes to serve, he is ready. As of yet though, he just sat there enjoying what peace he had
Thawingflame padded out of the camps clearing. He stopped just outside of the entrance and gave his back a long tension releasing stretch. Sitting back on his haunches and giving his charcoal chest a few tentative licks he glanced around. "Oh hey Snakefang! Enjoying the nice weather today?" Thawingflame blinked sharp amber eyes as he padded closer to the other tom shooting a glance up to the light gray sky.
Snakefang nodded toward Thawingflame. "Hello, Thawingflame. This is some nice weather we're having today. Now if only there were more days like this," he replied. He looked up at the sky before looking at the tom again. "What brings you out here?" he asked curiously.
"Well," the dark tom tipped his head considering. "I was thinking about taking a walk and maybe catching some snow hares. Wanna come?" In WinterClan's harsh environment it was always wise to take at least one other cat with you when you went out. Drifts were everywhere and the first wrong paw step could end your life without warning.
He shrugged. "I dont see why not." he responded, standing up and stretching. "At least that will give me the chance to stretch my legs out." He was a little surprised that he was invited to tag along but it would make sense for safety reasons. "Where shall we head first?" he asked, looking toward the camp entrance.
"I was thinking the old camp. Its dens and flat clearing would be ideal for hares. Plus its late enough in the season the snow might be melted now." He started past his companion at a light trot. "What do you think?"
"Sounds good to me," he replied, turning to follow his comrade, "I'm game." A smirk crossed crept onto his face as an idea hit him. "How about we make this a friendly competition? I bet I can catch more prey than you," he said confidently.
