Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

"And that is how I caught five squirrels in one day, Uncle Chim!"
Even as a warrior, Squirrelpool never stopped talking. It had been so long since she had a good conversation with her former mentor and relative, so she had a lot to catch him up on. Not to mention, billions of questions. "So you're a leader now? Wow, did we ever think you would make it this far? Ah, I'm just teasing, just teasing. What's it like? Do you feel like you have nine lives yet? What was the Regime like? I was surprised when they helped us. I mean, I always thought they couldn't see like moles and that was why they stayed underground." Her eyes twinkled with humor as she imagined a mole and cat mixed together. What a sight that would be.
His gait was loose but slow as he padded at the side of his former apprentice, listening to her talk on and on while he observed their surroundings with careful sweeps of his green half gaze. Like the rest of his family she never seemed to stop and take a breath, but he was more used to it with her, more patient: he had only just lost his eye when he first started training her, and he hadn’t been bigger yet, hadn’t been broken. They had gotten along well and even if he was a very different cat now, he could remember how easily they had worked together at times.
“Moles have a better sense of humor. The only cat I saw smile my entire stay was a fellow prisoner.”

"Wow, that must have been awful. But, Uncle Chim, are you really the one to talk about a sense of humor?" Squirrelpool teased, poking him in the side with her paw. "Nah, I know you're funny on the inside. You just try to keep a serious face to keep 'em on their toes, right?" She tried to make the best 'serious-faced' impression she could manage before bursting out in another laugh. Her days as an apprentice had been a fun and less depressing time. Sometimes she wished they could go back to those days. She wished that for their family, clan, and him. It all seemed more simple then.
Chimerastar snorted, which was about the closest he ever got to a laugh. "Maybe my jokes just go right over your ahead. You're all too daft or too clever to listen to what I have to say," he answered dryly. "I'll let you guess which you are." Annoying or not, she did always put him in an almost good mood, made him dangerously close to remembering his old spirits from so many moons ago. He could barely remember what he had been like back then, though, and he doubted anyone else did either. Stories of himself when he was young were like listening to stories of a completely different cat he'd never met.
