Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The sun was low in the sky, as the yellow tom crept low through the grass. Despite the weakened sunlight it's rays were still strong enough that he could feel it burning his fur. The promise of the pending green leaf came in on the warm breeze. The heat was just enough to be considered unbearable and made him long to return to the cool darkness of the tunnels. No, not yet. The tom stood, facing east so that the setting sun was directly behind him, illuminating his fun to blend in with it. Any prey that might look in his direction wouldn't be able to make him out in this lighting. He smirked, mildly proud at this, of course it would be better if there was actually any prey out to catch.
He was getting anxious, he had been above ground for awhile now and still had nothing to show for his efforts. As the regime's Scout Superior he was meant to be the best hunter. Second best after Limavady he thought to himself with a frown. He shook his head as if trying to chase the thought away. Commander Mars wouldn't of chosen him for the position if he didn't think he deserved it right?
Aisling was padding along the treeline, the feisty mercenary cadet practicing her battle stances all the while. "How about... this one!" She jumped through the trees, claws unsheathed and teeth bared as an ungodly snarl was ripped from her vocals. With a satisfied grin spreading across her features, she nodded her head, "Yep. That's the one. Oh, Shule would be proud!" She purred.
As she continued along her way, a warm breeze drifted by and with it carried Conrad's scent, the new Scout Superior. Curiosity lit up her amber eyes as she turned, her paws leading her in the direction of the golden tabby. The dark grey tortoiseshell she-cat stepped into a clearing and caught sight of Conrad, and with a friendly smile gracing her lips, she trotted up to him. "Hey there!" She meowed.

The gold tom had been lost in thought but, his group mate's meow had snapped him back to reality. He turned towards the sound of her greeting, his expression lighting up at the sight of a familiar face. "Hey there yourself" he purred as he headed towards her as well. "What are you up to? I didn't think any one else would be top side this late."
"Hmm," Cadet Aisling pondered to what she was doing. Oh, of course! "I was practicing my battle stances!" She replied, a toothy grin shooting from ear-to-ear. "I want to show Mercenary Superior Shule that I'm as dangerous as her! I aspire to be like her some day, yanno," She purred, coming to sit against her haunches as her tail curled over her paws.
"Well you certainly have the attitude for it" he chuckled. He too sat, curling his tail over his paws, and allowing himself to slouch slightly. From this angel she could see over his shoulder should anything try to creep up on them and vice versa. "You're probably a better fighter than me already, though that's not really saying much now is it? After all I am scout superior for a reason."
"Thank ya!" She grinned, baring her pearly whites at him. They were sharp, that's for sure, along with her elongated claws and lithe, graceful form, she was the perfect killing machine. But, that didn't necessarily mean anything; she was scared of her own shadow, sometimes. Who knows how she would do in an actual battle. "What are you doing out here, anyways? Duties done for the day?"

He shook his head, a bemused smile played at his lips. "My duties are never done. I'm attempting to hunt one last time before the day is over." he flick his tail, gesturing st the empty space around him. "As you can see my endeavors have been fruitless." draining his neck, he cast a glance over his shoulder to peering I to the setting sun. They didnt have much daylight left, though if he was feeling brave just maybe, he could try to stay out and take on an owl.
Her gaze followed his as he looked out to the small clearing, and a frown tugged at Cadet Aisling's lips. "Hmm, maybe try a hare? Or... or... maybe an owl?!" She hopped up onto her feet, a determined look crossing her features. It was as if she had read his mind. "An owl sounds super duper delicious! Though... I don't think I've ever had one?" Aisling pondered for a moment, tilting her head to the side and looking to the sky as she thought. "Nope. Can't recall."

"As you Wish" he responded with a light chuckle. Amusement glittered in his eyes as he watched the cadet do a little jump. In truth he'd never hunted let alone tasted an owl before but, how hard could it possibly be? He had heard of cats hunting hawks before so an owl was definitely doable. He stood and started walking passed Aisling with only a flick of his tail, signalling her to follow.
Finally he came to a stop below a tree with a decently sized next perched neatly in some of the high, sturdy branches. "Owls hunt at night, as I'm sure you know, If we're lucky I might be able to catch the one that lives in this tree."
