Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"I'm going back to camp to get this looked at. You guys keep hunting," Regin told the pair of students as he turned to limp back home, thorn-ridden paw clutched tight to his chest. Sleetpaw watched him go with a scowl. The injury didn't even look that bad, they could've pulled the thorn out themselves and he'd be fine, but he suspected the older cat just wanted an excuse to go visit his mate instead of hunting with two students. Well, Sleetpaw couldn't blame him; he didn't want to be on this patrol either, and now that it was just him and Glacierpaw, there was no warrior in charge to make him.
The silver and black tabby arched his back, parted his jaws in a wide yawn, then circled and laid down comfortably at the base of an aspen. "Alright, well, good luck hunting," he told Glacierpaw before he closed his eyes to nap.
Glacierpaw let out quite the dramatic sigh as Regin left the pair alone. Oh, great! She was left to go hunting with this mouse-brained student! He was probably one of the lazier cats she had ever met, and her suspicions were confirmed as Sleetpaw lowered himself to the ground, his eyes fluttering close as he shooed Glacierpaw off to do his bidding.
"Uhm, no. Get up."
She jabbed his side quite harshly with her paw, glaring down at the tom.
"Be honest, do you really think I'll be any help?" Sleetpaw kept his eyes closed, but you could almost feel him rolling his eyes anyway. He looked smug. "No, you know better than that. So get going and maybe you can catch something on your own instead of watching me trip over /every/ root and step on /every/ stick."
