Apart from training sessions, Shule hadn't had the opportunity to really speak with Head Cadet Ambrosia. Which, really, was a shame. In the position she was in, Ambrosia, really, was a Superior in the making. She was being given all the tools needed to one day rise even further above her peers, perhaps even to Commander, responsibility and opportunity few in the Regime would ever get. Until this point, however, she hadn't really been given much guidance, and that was a personal failure of her own. The Superior wasn't just going to leave the Cadet to flounder and figure out how to lead all on her own, that would be a disaster. That wasn't fair, and it reflected badly on her to have even let things go on this long, despite the Head Cadet having only held the position for a short time.
Today, they were starting early. Earlier even than usual. Shule had called training done early the day before, and warned everyone to get plenty of sleep, as they were starting bright and early once again today. As much as she'd chosen to retire early for the Cadets as they got used to her harsh form of training, it had been much more for Ambrosia, in order that she'd have enough sleep that earlier hour wouldn't be so much of a shock on her system. The ebony feline hadn't warned her ahead of the time that she'd be awoken so early, just so that the young Cadet wouldn't be awake when she arrived.
Gingerly picking her way through the post, as silent as a mouse so as not to disturb the sleeping Cadets, she paused at Ambrosia's nest, leaning down to whisper gently in the sleeping she-cat's ear, her voice startlingly soft. "Time to wake up Ambrosia. Please get up quietly and follow me." Though an order, this one wasn't nearly so sharp as the others the Head Cadet had experienced thus far, and for good reason. She didn't want to startle Ambrosia awake and have her go waking up the entirety of Post Alpha along with her. The yelling could come later today, but for now it was time for something more calm in the early hours before dawn.
Ambrosia lifted up her mountain grey head to meet Shule's gaze. The bands of caramel highlights along her own eyes dimmed the intense yellow of her gaze as she gave Shule a quick nod before getting up to her paws and following her out. She didn't know what this was about, but no doubt felt Shule had some wisdom to tell. Even though she had gone to bed early it had taken her two in a half hours to fall asleep from pure excitement. Now although she was thrilled she was still waking up a bit and wasn't ready to get pumped up just yet much to Shule's luck.
