Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Limavady's betrayal had come as no surprise to Venus. She knew what sort of tom he was. She had been trapped as his mate for several moons and some of the tykes in her litter were clearly his. She would not deny it and if they asked, she would tell them of their heritage. While Limavady would be a stain on their family tree, they had others in their family to look up to. She would not let them carry the weight of their father's sins.
She had just recovered from the scandal that had resulted from her affair with Fjord while she was still mated to Limavady. Of course the Regime was now seeing her in a new light. She was the victim of an evil cat's manipulation and Fjord had been the one to save her from the darkness. Honestly, she had never imagined that she would become your everyday damsel in distress. She liked to think that she could take care of herself. She hated that others looked at her with pity now. She could hear their whispers and she could see her look. She didn't want their pity. She wanted to be treated with the same dignity and respect that she had always had.
Perhaps these thoughts were what had drawn her out of Post Kilo. She was on her way to visit her father's grave. It had been a while since she had gone to see him. It was still hard to believe that he was gone. After their mother had died, her father had become the rock that kept their small family grounded. Even when Mars had vanished, she felt that he had held them together. She just wished that he had lived long enough to see Mars become the commander. She knew he had to be proud. She was proud of him even if her brother struggled with his new duties.
Her gaze was fixed on the path ahead and she wasn't exactly paying attention to who or what might be in front of her. Her only worry at the moment was getting to her father's grave.

He had spent his morning contemplating whether to go visit his grandfather's grave or not. The truth was, he was really awful at facing their family's problems. He loved to shut the issues out and try to ignore the growing pain. His brown tabby tail twitched uncomfortably as he began to make his way down the tunnels. It was about time he started becoming a part of this family again.
Coriander let out a grunt of surprise as another cat ran into him. Surprise washed over his features as he turned to face his aunt. "Is this a sign from the Blind Protector?" He wondered out loud and then let out a small laugh. "I'm sorry, Aunt Venus. I didn't hear you coming."
She took a quick step back when she collided with someone and quickly raised her head. "Oh Coriander! I'm sorry I should have been looking where I was going." It had been a while since she had spoken to him. She had always been fond of him though and she was proud of who he had become. He hadn't gotten attached to any of the troubles surrounding their family. Perhaps he was managing a more peaceful life than most of them at the moment.

"It's okay." He chuckled and helped steady her. His family had always told him he favored Venus in personality. When he was a tyke, she was his best friend. Despite what a few others said about her, he was proud to be like her. He glanced down the tunnel they both had been walking in and back to her. "Were you going to visit his grave too?" He asked gently.
Venus gave her nephew a sad smile. "It still feels so strange that he's not here. It didn't really surprise me though. Father was never the same after my mother, your grandmother, died. You would have loved her you know. She had this strange ability to melt even the coldest of hearts. Your sister is named after my mother actually." Of course her mother's grave was back in the old tunnels so she couldn't visit anymore, but she knew her parents were happy now that they were finally together again.
