Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Things sure had been busy as of late. Mars had found that he had little time for rest in troubled times like these. He found himself strengthening the Regime's defenses and preparing for the battles to come. SunClan would return for Foxstar. He was sure of it. No matter what happened, he would not let her go though. She had committed so many atrocities. Now that he had her here, he had to find some way to make her pay for her crimes...Well that was what usually went through his mind. Today however he was just interested in finding lunch and a quiet place to sit. He found this spot beside Roon. "How are you?" His voice was soft yet friendly as he settled down by his chaman. "I know things have been pretty crazy as of late so I hope I haven't been overworking you too much."
Roon had to admit, she hadn’t expected the tom to make his way to her side. The chaman didn’t speak but only dipped her head in a formal greeting. Then, as he spoke she found herself swallowing her mouthful and mewing,”Busy paws are the best, right?” Roon hadn’t been close to any of her family in many many seasons. Slawn was the closest cat she truly had, and when he died, a part of her died as well.
"Sometimes but not always. If you go by that logic you are going to end up like Apollo." While his tone was playful, he did worry about his brother. Apollo tended to get so absorbed in his work that he forgot to eat and sleep at times. He would need to go and check on him soon actually, but for now that could wait. "You should remember to take time for yourself as well, otherwise you will only run yourself into the ground."
Honestly, he had no room to speak on that aspect, but he wasn't going to point that out. His situation was a bit different or at least he thought it was. "You also realize you can speak to me about anything that is bothering you right?" He knew that might sound odd, but he had always worried about his aunts. Both Shule and Roon seemed to battle their own demons and he wanted to do what he could to help them even if that was just lending them a helpful ear when they needed someone to talk to.
Roon flicked her ear a little as the commander spoke. “Thank you.” Though she had to admit, she was very conserved and mostly kept to herself. It was likely that Roon would die of old age with no mate or tykes of her own, and she was personally okay with that. She took another bite of her prey, more to keep herself from being obligated to speak.
"I know things have been a bit hecitc latley though. I haven't seen Post Kilo this full in many moons." More tykes would be on the way soon which was surprising. The Regime didn't tend to have this many litters at once all that often. It wasn't a bad thing though. It showed that they were still strong despite the many efforts of outside forces to destroy them.
"That's not a bad thing though. But Venus's litter and my own tykes should become cadets soon. That should help ever so slightly." Of course he knew that this would mean they would be overflowing with cadets, but it gave him hope for the future. Despite everything else, the Regime was growing steadily.
