Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Morgana scowled as she slapped her paw through the herbs scattered in-front of her. It was all useless now, driven from her position as shaman because her ancestors were all greedy power hungry fools. A rebellion scared her ledger and the new nemesis wouldn't stand for her bengal pelt among those in power. Now she was nothing but a hunter, and where she used to stand above her mate Altaire it was now her looking up towards her. Where she used to have a den just for herself and her kits she was now among all the others.
Curling her lip she twisted and stalked away from her gathered herbs, comforting herself with the vicious pleasure that now that she was not shaman the league had no shaman. And she would not step in to help anyone, if she didn't hold the title then she would not fulfill the duties.

"You look like you've been down on your luck lately," meowed a voice. It was one that was soft in volume but not intensity. The creature that it belonged to would be one that might look familiar to Morgana, but it was just as likely that the she-cat wouldn't make the connection. They were similar in coloration, but she was larger. Altaire was a small tom, but Remini had grown more to the size of a proper adult. She was long-legged where he had never been. If nothing else, even if they were completely different colored, the brother and sister both had the same venom colored eyes. If Morgana was to look into Remini's eyes without taking in the rest of her, she might have mistaken the she-cat for her mate.
"Getting involved with Altaire often does that to a cat." She laughed, but there was no humor in her voice. "That was probably your first mistake- seeking him out. The rest of... well.. whatever was probably just destiny trying to correct itself for you giving him an outlet to breed."

The laugh Morgana let out was just a little past sane, and her eyes wild as she turned to Remini. The other would not be the first to criticize her choice of mate, she would not be the last either. But Morgana was also sure Altaire had received similar comments to this as well; comments that criticized his arrival into the league and his choice to attach himself to Morgana. In the beginning, when none had known him, it was assumed that Morgana was the wolf and he a sheep; as time elapsed past them it became clear to those same naysayers that neither Altaire nor Morgana seemed to have an upperhand in their relationship that was a constant battle for dominance. Both something even worse than wolves.
"I wish I could blame Altaire for all my misfortunes, perhaps they would be easier to solve." She replied when she finally came down from her hysteria, sending a second look towards the other and wondering if she knew her from somewhere, the other striking a chord in her that told her she was familiar.

Remini blinked. "He surely doesn't help with misfortunes, even if he is not the root cause of him," she commented, her voice chilly. This was the first interaction between Morgana and her sister-in-law, and it was clear that, well, it was going about as well as one could expect any interaction with Remini would go; not too terribly well. While her brother was charming and suave, his sister was not. She was much more transparent than he, something that came simply because she had been raised to try to fight the darkness while he had been raised to control it.
"He's been a nuisance since the day he opened his eyes." A nuisance that she was still rather perturbed that had settled down. It had been quite some time, yes, since the brother and sister had been around each other for an extended period of time, but from the beginning, Altaire had always preferred doing as he pleased when he did. "I'm surprised you all adopted him into the League in the first place, almost as surprised as I am that he willingly came."

"I wouldn't say he came willingly." Morgana replied with a small shrug, tossing a look towards the other she-cat out of the corner of her eye. Remembering how Altaire and her had spent quite a bit of time bargaining and hashing things out before they had made the journey back to the league. Curiously, she wondered if her younger age had made her more foolish. But also curiously enough, despite how much she hated him at times, she didn't think she would change anything could she go back. She wondered about the others obvious hostility towards her mate. While she was not Altaire's biggest fan she also disliked when others were so apparent about their disapproval of him. "You don't seem to know him very well." She observed.
If she did she would know that Altaire was dangerously charming, so much so he often swept the rug out from under others before they realized they were standing within a trap.

Remini wasn’t a cat who made a habit of laughing, but th laugh that came out of her was low and immediate. She shook her head slowly at the thought. It had been moons since the duo had interacted, but she found it difficult to believe he would ever change. She had had front row seats to the creation of Altaire; it was foolish to think anything else.
“If I do not know Altaire, I fear you know my brother even less.” She had intended to let the sHE-cat figure out why the duo had the same venom yellow eyes. She had intended to keep her guessing a little while longer, until the man in question danced his way into her perephery. He did that often, as if he knew whenever Remini had the gall to put his name in his mouth. Since her joining, it was as if he had put a bug in her pelt. He always seemed to know.

"Perhaps you're right. Perhaps Altaire and I know each other not at all." Morgana accepted wit ha placid shrug, though the small she-cats blue eyes turned to her mate and narrowed in suspicion rather than grow warm as they might have should the two been a normal healthy functioning couple. "What did you say your name was again?" Morgana wondered as she turned back to the she-cat next to her suspiciously. Finding it odd that Altaire was around at all, seeing as she barley saw him at times. Yet here he was in his spare time hanging about.
So she watched the she-cat next to her and got a sinking suspicion she was getting caught up in Altaire's drama again.
