Another day, another Nemesis, wasn't that how it went? At this point, Senescence wasn't particularly surprised anymore, though she did, briefly, wonder how long this one would last. Only time would tell, the Proxy supposed. And until then they probably expected that she actually do her job. Now, whether she actually did it or not would be debatable. For now, at least, it appeared that the heavily scarred feline was taking a break, lounging in a tree, away from the world, and all alone.
Well, no, not really. Pawsteps tickled the half-blind feline's ears, barely louder than a whisper, and her eyes blinked softly closed. Perhaps if they thought she was sleeping, they'd leave her alone.

"Senescene!" Versace-kun called as he looked up towards the proxy, the one who held control of his district, who made his rules. He had chosen to fall into her district simply because it had seemed to be one of the easiest. The less work involved the better for him perhaps; the tom preferring to make others miserable and not spend his time actually being productive. Like he was doing now, though he had a suspicion he might be playing with fire. "Are we working today?" He wondered allowed, almost mocking, the glaring lack of respect would have most older cats proxy or hunter boxing his ears.
She could hardly claim to be surprised that the slackers would join her district. After all, she was a cat who disappeared often, and when she was around, could usually be found as she was now, lounging around with no intentions of doing what she was told. Truly, the Proxy had hoped that her position, high up in the tree and backed by the trunk so as to be shielded by the growing leaves, would hide her from any onlookers, but as usual, she wasn't so lucky.
Yawning as she rose to her paws, the heavily scarred feline gave a leisurely stretch, mismatched gaze of haint blue and blind violet focusing on the young tom. "Better yet, how about you join me on a little adventure? Take a break from everyone else for a while." Her tone was deadpan, emotionless and cold, hinting at none of what she might feel inside. Ever the bored cat, the Proxy who couldn't be surprised by anything, and apparently didn't care about Versace's attitude.

"Oh I love that idea." He purred with a bright smile, her deadpan tone making him even more excited. He wondered if she would try to drown him in a river on their journey; what a delightful surprise that would be! "I haven't been on an adventure since I was a youngling!" He tagged on, the trainee speaking as if his time as a youngling was years ago. When in truth it was only a few moons behind him, the trainee rather new.

"Then I suppose we should get going. No time to waste where we're headed." She did entertain the thought of killing him and burying his body, but no, she'd let him dig his own grave, if he was so inclined to do so. In the meantime, it had been a while since she'd really gone out, so this was as good an opportunity as any, despite the unpleasant company.

Versace-kun frowned at her back, upset she wasn't showing enough enthusiasm to make him feel motivated to keep up his own. Shoulders slouching he sighed and followed along after her, letting her lead the way to wherever it was they were going. Though by the sounds of it it would be somewhere troublesome; the young tom couldn't wait. A bounce developed in his step at the thought of danger; perhaps he could come back carrying as many scars as the proxies. Though he knew that was impossible, from the rumors she had earned hers through a lifetime.
If it was enthusiasm Versace wanted, Senescence was not the cat to be following around. She spent her life in a state of something between boredom and disinterest, participating in even the most daring stunts without blinking an eye. This also meant she was the most likely to end up getting you killed, given that she often sought out such wild things that she could consider most anything average at best. There was a high likelihood the trainee would be coming back with some scars today, if he came back at all. They were going far beyond the usual territory, in fact, Senescence was headed for the city. It was an easy place to find all sort of chaos, to get lost in the sprawling homes and endless streets. She had a particular destination in mind to start with, one that Versace might find interesting, and would force him to rely on her one way or other.

"What's your favorite color!" The trainee posed the question out of the blue hating walking in silence. Or that's what he would say if she asked why he was asking such pointless questions. Truthfully Versace-kun was perhaps trying to see if he could get a rise from her. Or make her break her seemingly stoic nature by just being more annoying. His siblings were becoming few and far between, leaving the group or simply 'disappearing'. Leaving the tom with less and less cats to poke at, seeing as the number of trainees in PI was rather low.
