Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
A shrill scream echoed through the fields of wheat as Azura struck her claws through the flesh of the rogue. It was nothing personal against the poor tom, but he knowingly crossed the border. At that point it was of of Azura's hand. Feeling another stare on the back of her neck, she spun around, with her claws raised, to see the eyes of a Clanmate staring back at her.
Mittens blinked. The blink could've meant anything, from the vague surprise of 'Oh, hello there. I didn't see you.' to the eye-watering 'Ow! I got something in my eye! Help!' It was hard to tell with her. Either way, Mittens blinked. "Meow," Mittens said quite plaintively, much like a kit whining for attention. Or more accurately, like the shrieking of a banshee about to swoop down on her unsuspecting prey to devour their soul whole. If banshees were soul-devouring creatures, that is. But alas, they were harmless predictors of death and mayhem and— Gosh, that'd be a boring job, wouldn't it?
Mittens tilted her head, glanced past the cat and stared at the bloodied corpse of the rogue, seemingly fixated on the blood still pouring sluggishly from the wounds. She licked her lips. "Meow," she said, which might've translated to, '... Can I get a taste?' or maybe it actually meant, 'Wow! I like your new decorations. It really tie this whole place together.' or even, 'You know, if I had a mouse for every time I saw one of these, I'd have one mouse.' As always with Mittens, it was hard to tell.
Windchaser entered the scene, her swelling belly noticeable but not eye catching. She had gone on a stroll in hopes to get this awful energy out that had been nagging her after she found out she was expecting kits. She had heard the shriek and gone to investigate, probably not her best idea. Upon arriving at the scene, she noticed Azura, Mittens, and a dead rogue. The pregnant queen shook her head at Mittens. Her clanmate was a very interesting character and no one really understood her. She then turned to Azura and with sarcasm ringing in her tone she mewed, "nice catch. You bringing that one to the fresh-kill pile?" Although the ginger and white she-cat was very sarcastic, there was always amusement gleaming in her green eyes.
