Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Oh!" Shiningkit said, gazing down at the pretty bright red berries. They were so pretty and small and they didn't have an awful smell. They seemed completely harmless. "Do you think Smokecloud will notice they're missing?" Shiningkit asked licking up one of the berries and chewing it.
"Yes!" Squeaked Shiningkit. "Although, now I feel kinda funny..." She trailed off. Her stomach was starting to hurt and she was starting to get nauseous.
Smokecloud entered his den and noticed Shiningkit with a few red berries in front of her. "Did you eat those!?" he asked, his voice angry and worried but he didn't wait for an answer, seeing that she was already looking woozy. He rushed over to a section of his den and started pulling out pawfuls of dried up herbs until he pulled out a plant with white flowers on it. He dropped it in front of Shiningkit. "Eat these now!" he ordered, his yellow eyes blazing. He was scared, but he replaced his fear with anger. He was afraid he was too late. He didn't know how much time had passed since Shiningkit swallowed the berry.
Dovekit stood back, her blue eyes wide with worry.

Cardinalkit's eyes widened to the size of saucers staggering back from the once pretty sweet looking berries that smokecloud was freaking out abou tnow. "Is... is Shiningkit going to be okay?" His voice quaking in fear at the thought of his sister being hurt.
Shiningkit gazed up at Smokecloud, eyes wide. "Y-yes..." She stammered. "They looked so pretty and harmless. My stomach hurts!" She wailed glancing down at the herbs Smokecloud put in front of her. She'd really rather not eat them, they smelled terrible.
"If you want to survive, you'll eat them" he growled, pushing the plant closer to Shiningkit, giving her a stern look.
"I would do as he says, Shiningkit. Hes the medicine cat" her voice shook as she spoke. She tried to hide the fear she felt but was failing miserably. The words that Smokecloud said rang in her mind, causing her heart to sink If you want to survive, you will eat them! She felt sick to her stomach. Was her sister going to die because of her? Tears started to form in her blue eyes, blurring her vision. This was all her fault. If her sister died, she would never forgive herself.
“Just do it! If he says so do it!” Cardinalkit cried forepaws shaking as he looked wide eyed, fur puffed out in fear at his sister getting seriously sick. Or dying as Smokecloud seemed to be saying.
Shiningkit quickly chewed the herb that Smokecloud had given her. It tasted about as awful as it smelled. Within just a few seconds thought, Shiningkit vomited up the bright red berries. "W-what were those?" she asked shakily.
"Your going to be okay." He mewed with a sigh of relief. "Those are death berries. I keep them in here just in case." He put the rest of the berries away. "I told you not to touch anything." He scolded sternly at Shiningkit and Dovekit. "I'm very disappointed. I wonder what your father will say when I tell him what just happened in here." He turned his head to Cardinalkit his voice just as stern, "You didn't eat anything, did you?"
"They'll be angry if I don't tell them. You should be okay but in case you get sick again, your father will find out and I will get in trouble for not telling him" He answered Shiningkit.
Dovekit stepped forward, "Smokecloud, it was me. I'm the one that told Shiningkit to eat the berry. If anyone is to get in trouble, its me..."
Smokecloud narrowed his yellow eyes as he stared down at Dovekit, his expression unreadable. "I see. Take your sister back to the nursery. Come find me if she starts acting unusual. I will be talking to your father." The gray tom turned and slipped out of the den, heading for Cardinalstar.
Dovekit padded over to Shiningkit, her ears dropped and her tiny tail dragging the ground. "Come on, sister. I think its time we get you to our nest so you can sleep." Her voice was quiet but loud enough for Shiningkit and Cardinalkit to hear.
"I was mouse brained enough to eat the berry. You shouldn't be in trouble." Shiningkit said quietly, slinking out of the medicine cat's den with her sister. Their father was eating a mouse in a quiet shaded spot. He would not be happy when Smokecloud told him what happened and Shiningkit would much rather be in the nursery when he found out.
Dovekit lead Shiningkit to the nursery. Before she squeezed into the entrance, she took a glance over at Smokecloud and Cardinalstar who were now talking.

"Cardinalstar" Smokecloud approached the tom, dipping his head in a respectful greeting. "I'm terribly sorry for disturbing your meal."
