Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Exsperavit looked back at Flame. "Why does the mortal care?" He shook out his ruffled pelt, nibbling at the fur around his bald patch, adding to the visible pink flesh. His tail lashed at her cold tone. "Why would I not be okay, mortal? I'm free! That's what I am! I'm your savior, that's what I am. I'm okay. I'm very okay, but are you?" He shook out his heavy paws and continued on his way. They seemed clumsy, so he stumbled once or twice. Their were bird calls far away, echoing in his head along with the scuffle of small critters. "I'm not very familiar with this territory, not really. Is there a river nearby? I like the water! Mother said I could control water, just not yet. When the time comes the universe will give me my powers. But the universe is very funny, a funny little milkshake, it is. It may be too late, I may be dead before then." He continued on his way, eyeing his surroundings. His tail, against his will, curled protectively around himself. He just hoped the dark wouldn't swallow him up.
"If you can control the waters by the time it floods, why not just control the flood?" she asked, her voice giving away that she really didn't care and it was more of a sarcastic question.

He stopped, thought for a moment, then turned back around. "I would, I would, I would. But they are powerful floods, beyond my abilities. If I could control the floods, I could control all the water on the earth at the same time. I cannot." He sniffed the air. The ghosties had gone, but he wondered when they would return. They always returned. Always. "Always! Always! Always!" They never gave him a break, never ever. He shook out his head again. "Is there a river nearby? Or a stream? Or anything?" He sounded desperate now, he was desperate. His impulses kicked in, his weird thoughts crashing down. His mind buzzed. "Stupid brain bees." He muttered to himself. "I told you to find me a river, mortal! Find me a river!"
The fur along her back bristled and she pressed her muzzle into Exsperavit's, her turquoise eyes cold. "My name is not mortal! My name is Flame and if you don't quit demanding things from me, I will make sure I will leave you with something to remember me by!" Her lips curled into a snarled and she growled deeply.

He was taken aback and flinched at the sudden contact. His eyes met hers, and he saw something familiar in their cold depths. He shook out his fur and stepped away. This mortal thought she was better than he! How dare she. Exsperavit hissed. "Mortal." He hissed. "You should be bowing down to me! I'm going to save you all, I'm a god. Why must you put me through all this misery? Why must you disrespect me? I do everything for you all and you treat me like dirt. I do not understand." He turned away. "Mother said they loved me. They respected me." He growled to himself. "I should let them all die! I care nothing for them, they're all insignificant little insects that I could squash at any moment. Rats." Exsperavit turned back. "I would never forget you, either way. You're the being of the destruction of the world. Fire. Your name. Your fur. And the floods in your eyes. But you choose to disrespect me, mortal, I'm sorry." He sat down. Why did the mortal hate him?
"Are you saying that I'm the distruction coming to the world?" She asked, less hostile but her stare still cold and hard. What if it was metaphorical? Did he mean she would cause destruction with the path she is choosing to take? Her plans for the future would for sure cause havoc withing the clans but could she end up destroying them? Or was this tom talking of actual flood waters and destruction? Perhaps he is just a crazy cat losing his mind. She couldnt tell. Either way, he sounded crazy. He sounded mental unstable. He was not a god to her, nor was he immortal. She could take his life right there, however, she thought against it. There was no need for bloodshed, not yet.

"You may be." He looked her over. "You prophesize it, you prove it. If I have you they'll have no choice but to believe me! They're all mad, they are, but you and me, we can warn them. They'll respect you almost as much as they respect me. They'll treat you like a goddess. You're a...a..." He trailed off, thinking until his train of though derailed. "Where should we go next? I need to be free."
They'll treat you like a godess, the words rang in her mind. How much she would love that. To be treated with the most respect. Ignoring his question on going somewhere else, she mewed, "Tell me everything you know." Though she ignored the last question the tom asked her, she still headed for the meadow. There was a river there and it should be free enough for him.

He followed her eagerly. Joy lifted his heart, his body, light as a feather. "Everything is a lot," He started, "but I will tell you everything I can. When my dear mother had me, her sole survivor, she got visions. Visions of the worlds destruction. Visions of me saving everyone. She told me about how everyone knew. She said some did not believe, but they knew. She said they know about me, about how I will save them all! They respect me, love me. They just do not believe me, they call me mad. I'm not mad, they're mad. But you, Flame, are proof! They must believe me now! You're living evidence. Mother said it was the floods, then the fire. Floods would destroy everything, fire would burn the remains. She told me to start a tunnel system, a place underground where we can all stay so we won't die." He walked beside her, his tail twitching. Finally! Finally! Someone was on his side for once! He felt like he could fall. "I must dig them out soon, I have already started." He shook out his head. "Anyway. Once that happens, once everything is destroyed, the sun will fall. See, this is where I save everyone! This is where I will use my power to push the sun back in it's rightful place. I'll be a hero! And you would be my biggest follower, the one who helped, and they would respect you, too. We would rule the world! We would be the saviors. More so me. But I'd be a god, and you, a goddess. Not even the most powerful thing alive would dare disrespect us." He could tell she was entranced. She liked what she heard. He smiled a smile of broken, yellow teeth.
She thought for a moment, for a long moment, leaving nothing more than an empty awkward silence between them before she spoke again. "And you are sure of this? Have you told anyone else?" She kept walking, leading him to the meadow.

He started to jump, a pure, joyful jump. "Yes! Yes! Oh, how I've tried! They never listen to me! They call me mad, but I am not. They are mad. It's true! I've seen it! The ghosties have told me. You have to believe me."
He stared at her, his joy beginning to drop again. “Yes, mortal. Unless you were deceiving me?” He questioned. If this cat would not join him, after everything he offered her, then she would make herself an enemy. A powerful, dangerous enemy.
They arrived at the meadow and she sat down and curled her tail around her paws neatly. "Why did you choose me? Because I'm the only one that would listen?" She looked at him, her eyes narrowed. She wasn't a follower, she was a leader. Her plans were to take over Nightclan and this crazy tom better not hold her back from it.

He paused and examined the meadow. Wide. Free. “Oh, I did not choose you. You chose me. But yes, you seemed to be the only one that would listen. The only one that is sane. I didn’t even know about you before, but once I got a good look at you I knew. I knew! You’re evidence! You prove everything.” His thoughts rattled around a bit more, completely forgetting why they were in the meadow in the first place, other than the openness. “You were the only one that would listen. Other than mother, of course.”
He nodded. “Yes! Yes! I will help! The bigger the plans, the better!” He laughed, a crackly, hysterical. “Now, Flame, tell me a bit about yourself. I want to get to know my right-hand.” He circled his tail around himself. The ghosties would not take this one from him.
