Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
A small gust of wind tugged at Woodkit's whiskers, blowing them against his face. He skittered around the camp, tail waving behind him, full of a boundless energy, but it seems his limbs were a tad too lanky and soon enough he tripped over himself and felt onto his chin. He lay there, stunned for a moment before he shook out his head and sat up. His wide green eyes scanned the ground, and soon he was walking bloodhound style, his face half a whiskers length from the ground. Those pretty little stones have to be around here somewhere, he stopped once he caught sight of one, examining it closely. It was small with one pointy edge and it seemed to glitter in the sun. He knocked it with his snowy little paw and carried it between his teeth to a safe little spot just for his rocks. He dropped it and set out again. He was going to have the biggest collection in all the Clans! He had found two more rocks and just stopped in front of his third. It was an average stone, a little dull, but on it was a spider. A small, brown spider with long, thin legs. He crouched low and watched it as it sat on the rock. He quite liked spiders, they were odd little creatures. The spider moved suddenly across the rock, and Woodkit startled backwards. That didn't mean they weren't dangerous! But it didn't seem to be after him, so he watched from a further, safer distance.
(hey sorry for being late!! i had a lot going on) "Whacha lookin' at?" Dreamingkits small, squeaky voice chimed from behind Woodkit. Finally old enough to leave the nursery yet not without her fathers watchful.... stalking? She was a very curious young molly. Hazel-green eyes blinked at ther denmate quizzically.
Woodkit glanced up at the new voice. They sounded young like him, a new friend maybe? “This little spider! I found him on this rock I was gonna collect but I think it’s his home. I don’t want to take his home away.” He glanced back down at the spider. “I’m Woodkit, by the way! I like collecting rocks and have the biggest collection in the whole Clan!” He introduced himself and sat up straight to face this new kit.
She cocked her head. "You collect stones? What's so good about those?" She asked him. "My name is Dreamingkit. I uh... have the weirdest dad in all the clan?" She giggled slightly before sighing lightly. Her hazel gaze cast now towards the spider, she stalked closer to it. "Whats his name?"
"Hello Dreamingkit!" He spoke cheerfully. "I love collecting stones! See, they can be so pretty and each one is different than another. No two stones are the same. And there's a lot of 'em! They are very special because they've been here for so long, long before we were born, maybe even longer. I've got a whole big collection if you wanna see, and there is this sparkly one I found today." Woodkit crouched down with her, joining her to gaze at the spider, who scuttle around the stone a bit more. "I'm not sure, he won't tell me. Maybe he doesn't have a name, and if he doesn't I'll name him...." He thought for a moment, "Twig. Because his legs look like little twigs."
“Very much! He is a spider, after all.” Woodkit giggled. The spider scurried off, leaving Woodkit staring after it slightly disappointed. “Hey, you wanna see my rock collection instead? Or if you had something else on mind?”
She looked around the small area of the camp for a moment. She was able to sneak out of the nursery since her father was out, and she couldn't see or smell him around, so she nodded and took Woodkit up on his offer. "Sure! What kinda rocks do you like the most?
The skinny brown tom bounded towards the side of the nursery, where his rocks were. “Well I like the sparkly ones the most, like this one,” He separated a larger rock with specks of silver dotted throughout. “This one is my favourite. I also like the white ones, like this one,” He neatly put back the sparkly stone and took out a medium/sized white-ish one. He pawed it back in its place. “Oh! Oh! How about you name this white one, I sometimes give them names but not always.”
“I give them whatever name I think suits them, which can be just about anything.” Woodkit explained. He picked a rock from the pile, thinking for a moment. “See, this is Storm, because it’s grey like storm clouds.” He pushed the sharp stone back in the pile. “But I wanna collect something else now, along with my rocks. But there’s nothing in camp and I can’t go out until I become an apprentice. I don’t know what to collect either.” He rambled, organizing his stones once more.
A devilish smirk formed on Dreamingkits small maw. She grabbed Woodkit and pulled him to the corner of the nursery, lowering her paws in his face as she spoke in a hushed tones, "Do you wanna explore outside of camp with me? My dad's mentoring right now, so I could probably get one of my uncles to bring us!"
Woodkit stared at Dreamingkit for a moment, his eyes wide. “I...yeah, I guess so. I mean it’d be fun.” The skinny tom shifted his little white paws. “Yeah, let’s go.”
Her hazel eyes lit up and she bounced lightly in place. "Yes! I've been waiting for someone else to actually wanna come with me! If I ask one of my uncles alone, they'll tell my dad. But, if I have someone else with me, I won't get scolded!" Her plan was almost perfect, besides the fact that her uncles and aunts would probably tell her dad what she was doing anyway. Darting out of the nursery without another word, she crashed into the apprentice den looking for one of her uncles. Spotting Tigerpaw, she barreled into him at full force. "UNCLE TIGERPAW~" She sang, voice melodic- a complete contrast to how she had presented herself before.
Woodkit chased after her wordlessly, his tail quivering in both excitement and anxiety. He looked up at the apprentice, whom was a cat he had never talked to before. But he was only an apprentice, could he really take them out of camp all by themselves? Woodkit blinked his large green eyes up at “Uncle Tigerpaw” and back at Dreamingkit. This would be a good idea, he just hoped it didn’t go wrong.

Tigerpaw was not expecting the little force that pounded into his side. "Oh!" He breathed and dramatically toppled to the ground once he realized who it was. "Dreamingkit, you got me!" He purred, batting the she-kit on the ear. The large tabby tom used to be an oddball of sorts in the icy clan due to his cheery personality, but now there were more cats emerging that shared the same love for life. He had a feeling Dreamingkit and her friend were going to be some of those cats. "What can I do for you two?"
Dreamingkit smiled and giggled as her uncle shoved her off and rose from the ground. She looked around for a moment before leaning closer to her uncle and motioning him to come back down to her size, cupping her paws around his ears, "Woodkit and I wanna go outside and explore! Can you show us around?" She whispered in the lowest voice she could muster. "Please don't tell daddy! He'll bite my tail off if he found out!" She shivered.

They certainly went to the right cat with this request.
"Of course!" He purred with a mischievous grin and rose to his paws. "Is there a certain place you two would like to visit? OR, are we brave enough to try and explore the whole territory?"
A light went off in her head and Dreamingkit grew a devilish smirk to match her uncles. "I'm brave enough to explore the whole territory." She puffed out her chest as she spoke, eyeing Woodkit sheepishly. "What about you, Woodkit?"
