Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. Solaris E’tan was still recovering from the loss of his first life, less than two moons after his rise to power. Tensions seemed to be at a standstill currently, and there was no immediate threat, so after the morning had passed he went to seek out Savagnin. Though she now shared his den at least part of the time, it had been a while since they had spent a day together. He was desperate for a simple, pleasant conversation, and she was one of the few he could have it with.

Savagnin was, as she often was, out on the beach. Soaking in the sea breeze with closed eyes and swaying slightly as she took moment to simply examine herself and thinking over recent events. A process that helped center her and keep her moods even; the she-cat not wanting to become one of the league cats drowning in their own regrets or hate. The tides were low, meaning the sand bar was exposed and those who wished to go across or come to the island had the chance to. She liked seeing those that would wander off; thinking towards their destinations. Did they simply go to take a break, to go check on the old territory, or perhaps to meet secrets lovers.
Experience told the Nemesis that he could find his mate on the sandy expanse, so that’s where his paws led him. The large ginger tom broke free from the thick beach woods, the inflamed gash on his shoulder still visible, and approached Savagnin quietly. His greeting to her was his muzzle pressing into her shoulder, his rich amber eyes warm as he looked at her. “Hello my love.” He spoke barely above a whisper, moving to sit beside her. “What are you thinking about?”

Blue eyes glanced over towards him as a soft smile appeared like the sun on a cloudy day. Her whole demeanor brightening as she was greeted by her mate. "Just organizing my thoughts. Did you miss me so much you had to come seek me out?" She teased. But truthfully overjoyed he had done so, like Solaris she had been missing the other. Things having been so hectic it was difficult to even catch a moment for oneself, never-mind getting some time with others as well.
"Maybe I did," Solaris E'tan admitted, a faint gleam of amusement in his steady gaze. "There's not many cats I can have a good conversation with in these parts, so you're often sorely missed." He watched her for a moment more, before turning to gaze out at the lazy waves, feeling the warmth of the sunshine on his thick pelt. "Everything has been so fast-paced lately, but things seem to be settling down. Maybe I'll be allowed to lead without losing another life, and then we can go back to our old territory."
