Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(In the aftermath of the Earthquake, NightClan is shaken. They've lost their home, along with several of their clanmates being either missing or have been found dead. (syzygyPrimordialhaze feel free to have had some of your cats been casualties to the quake (otherwise they'll just be presumed 'lost')
In this thread, Burningstar calls for a vigil to be held for NightClan's dead.)
"Cats of NightClan, gather with me tonight, under the starry gaze of our ancestors." Burningstar called her voice shaky. In the middle of the clearing were the bodies of several NightClan cats, those who had fallen in the past few days following the earthquake that had rendered NightClan homeless.
It had only been two moonrises ago that the clan had been driven from their camp, from the forest even, as they all were now gathered in the clearing on NightClan's territory, a safe enough distance away from the trees that once had seemed so strong they'd never fall. Now were seemingly as untrustworthy as loose pebbles atop a cliff face. Burningstar noted several cats still shooting wary glances towards the forest every so often, even catching some taking care where they placed their paws. She hoped that in time they'd regain their confidence in their home. But for now they just needed time.
And the first step was finally having a vigil for the fallen. She straightened up trying to make herself taller as he clan slowly but surely began to gather around her.
Smallspiral looked bitterly at the limp bodies of their clanmates. Bitter that Thistlebriar had been unrecoverable, she wondered if others like her brother had been met with such a fate. Crushed beyond- She swallowed tightly and looked away.

Turubulentpaw stared at the broken bodies that had been placed gently into the middle of the clearing. He could have easily been placed among them, having almost died when he was trapped inside the medicine cat den. He felt sick to his stomach, imagining his own mangled corpse lying there beside of them. He was to young to die. No one knew his name yet, he was only on the first few chapters of his story. Everything that he had been working towards had almost been taken away in an instant.
Bleakwind sat down beside Turbulentpaw and rested his tail on the young cat's shoulder. He knew the young tom was likely reflecting on how close of a call it had been. For all of them. The rumbling earth could've easily taken them all if it had chosen to. But by StarClan's blessing, they were still here. Though many of their clanmates could not say the same.
Duskwing, pulled Briarpaw, Beetlepaw and Spiderpaw close. She'd been devastated when she hadn't been able to find Spiderpaw right away, but after much searching her son had been recovered and was now safely in her proximity once more. The extremely overprotective she cat, would not be letting her kits stray far for a while. Apprentices or not. She would not lose them too.

Turubulentpaw flinched as the tail was draped gently over him, but only out of surprise. He had not been expecting anyone to do such, as he leaned into the warmth.
Spiderpaw reluctantly allowed himself to be pulled towards his mother and siblings. He wasn't the mostly openly warm cats, even though he loved his family deeply. His mother needed them now, needed to know that they were alright. He closed his eyes, and allowed himself to just relax in her embrace. A few cuts and bruises served as a painful reminder of his experience, but it could have been much worse.
Larkwing settled down beside the lifeless bodies of his clanmates. His heart felt like it was crumbling, just like the earth had done during the earth quake. He held back the tears trying to form in his eyes.
Echopaw padded over to Smallspiral and sat beside her, her fur brushing the older she-cat's. She had been the one along with another apprentice Thistlebriar was saving before the inevitable happened. She felt she could at least offer support for his sister.

Bonfirepaw sat still his head bowed low as he considered the cats who went missing or he saw die with his own eyes. His heart especially breaking for Mintscar.
Bruniaberry chose to sit farther from the center. More on the outskirts where she could get away if she felt the need. She had no remorse for these cats. It was, after all, their time.
Burningstar nodded to Larkwing, before she went over to one of the cats, Mintscar and sat down to groom his fur. She hadn't been as familiar with the warrior as she wished she had been, and it was a shame he'd fallen. After she was satisfied she rose to her paws and moved on to the next cat, inviting others to come and respect those who had fallen.
racer Bleakwind kept Turbulentpaw close, the older tom looking towards Bruniaberry who was keeping to the back. He would go talk to her after he was sure Turbulentpaw had calmed enough. The young medicine cat seemed stressed by all that had happened.
Hollypaw Duskwing took a few deep breaths, breathing in the scent of her kits. Grounding herself that her children were still with her. That though there had been losses, she had not lost her children. Thank StarClan for that. She bent her head to give each one a gentle lick.
Beetlepaw didn't react when his mother's tongue rasped over his head, the small black tom instead looking towards Echopaw sitting with Smallspiral. He'd been horrified when he'd learned that Echopaw and Skypaw had almost been crushed by a rock, only saved by Thistlebriar's brave sacrifice.
It was sad that Thistlebriar wasn't able to be recovered, but would having his body here for a vigil truly honor him? Or just taint his memory. The black tom cringed at the idea and huddled closer to his sister and brother.
Spot Smallspiral jerked her head away and pulled away from Echopaw. She didn't want the apprentices pity or comfort, she wanted her brother! The one she'd spent a few moons in WinterClan prison for! The one who she hadn't seen in seasons, only to finally get him back... only to see him die to protect the blind daughter of Soaringbird and that BrookClan cat, and Echopaw, Stealthclaw's adopted stray. Bitterness rising Smallspiral got to her paws and walked away to move away from it all, taking a seat near Bruniaberry. The she cat was clearly hanging back, and Smallspiral doubted she'd bother striking up a conversation.
Skypaw came over and sat beside Echopaw as Smallspiral left, the blind she cat's ears lowered in shame, sightless blue eyes looking blankly towards the bodies. The smell of death plain to her.
Echopaw's heart shattered when Smallspiral pulled away and suddenly felt as if Smallspiral blamed her for the accident. Depression and anxiety sank in and it felt like she was suffocating. Was it her fault? Maybe if she had clawed harder at the ground, she could have gotten Skypaw out sooner and Thistlebriar wouldn't have had to rescue them...he would still be alive and Smallspiral would still have her brother. She felt sick to her stomach and tears poured from her eyes. It was all her fault. She laid down and rested her head on her paws, staring blankly, not even acknowledging Skypaw's existence.
Spot Skypaw heard rustling and her ear twitched and she turned away from focusing on the death smell of their clanmates who they were sitting vigil for. Instead focusing on Echopaw. She reached out hesitantly and then placed a paw on Echopaw's shoulder. "It's okay." She said softly. "It's gonna be okay, we'll get through this." She assured the younger apprentice.
Skypaw opened her mouth detecting Smallspirals scent. She closed her mouth and nodded. "I understand." She said. "And it is hard, especially for her. Everyone's been talking about how Smallspiral doggedly searched for her brother, and wound up in winterclan prison for two moons all to get her brother out. She loves him a lot. And having him in StarClan now, and not down here is hard." Skypaw murmured her ears lowered. "I couldn't imagine being without my mother and father, or my siblings. Even though they go to StarClan, it's just. The thought is terrifying of being without them."
She nodded even though she knew Skypaw couldn't see it. She couldn't imagine losing Stealthclaw. Even though Stealthclaw wasn't her real mother, the queen had willingly took her in and treated her like one of her own and Echopaw couldn't imagine life without her. "I can't imagine what she must be going through..."
"I guess your right, Skypaw. As always" she smiled with a purr. She enjoyed being around Skypaw. The blind apprentice had become more of a sister to her ever since their incident. She was glad to have Skypaw there to help cheer her up. Echopaw sat back up, "how are you doing with all of the change?"

Turbulentpaw closed his eyes for a moment but then nodded to Bleakwind. He knew that Bruniaberry needed comfort to, and that he needed to be strong. He pulled away making his way over to those that they had lost. He pressed his nose against each of their heads. He had not been close with any of them, but he was still the clan's medicine cat. He need to show them the respect that they deserved. To be a model for clan, even though he felt like falling apart There would be time for that later... Once his duties were done, he saw skypaw and before he really knew what he was doing, he found his paws carrying him in her direction.
Spotracer "I'm managing," Skypaw meowed shrugging her shoulders. "One benefit of being blind is the sunlight everyone's having issues with doesn't bother me much." She said trying to sound positive before slouching a bit. "That's about all it's good for." She muttered. Her ear twitched as she detected pawsteps drawing near them and she turned her head opening her mouth and catching Turbulentpaw's scent. "Hey, Turbulentpaw." She greeted quietly.
"At a time like this, it must be nice" Echopaw agreed when Skypaw mentioned her blindness and how she is able to sleep without the sun keeping her awake. She turned her attention to Turbulentpaw as he approached. She dipped her head to the medicine cat in greeting, "Hello, Turbulentpaw." Her green eyes softened in sympathy for the medicine cat. He was so busy curing everyone even in his own weariness. He looked out for the others before himself. She was also glad to see he was alive. She hadn't seen his struggled with the water but she had heard about it. Starclan was definitely on his side that day. "I'm glad you are okay, Turbulentpaw." Echopaw shared her sorrow and pity as she pressed her forehead against Turbulentpaw's.

"Thank you" Turbulentpaw replied, leaning into his friend's warmth. It had been a long day, and it was the first time he had the chance to just grieve. His long thing tail dragged the ground, and he seemed to be struggeling to keep his eyes open. The young tom had managed to bear the weight upon his shoulders, but it looked like he would crumble at any moment. A little time with his friends was what he needed now. "I'm glad to see both of you as well" he glanced over at the bodies that lied in the clearing "that could have been any one of us"
"Although it is still very unfortunate that we lost the lives that we did, I'm glad that us three are still standing along with the rest of the clan." Echopaw sighed. Her whole clan could have been killed if it weren't for quick action. Suddenly, her heart seemed to swell. Where was Beetlepaw? She owed him her life as well. If he hadn't gone back for her, she would still be stuck under whatever had fallen on her tail in the apprentice den. "Beetlepaw also saved my life. He came back for me" a smile crossed her face. Over everyone in the den, Beetlepaw came back for her and refused to leave until she was free.
