Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Tinybreath let out a huff of frustration and she lounged on a low-hanging branch of a willow tree, just overlooking the river that flowed casually below it. Icy pale eyes gazed down at her own reflection tiredly, staring blankly as the image of herself rippled against the stream's current and glittered under the gentle sunlight.
New-leaf wasn't entirely here yet, but it was almost; the sky was a fresh, soft blue, and the warmth brought by the sun's rays was only slightly lessened by the chilly breeze that picked up the occasional dead leaf and promptly deposited it in the river, where it would be carried downstream and out of both sight and mind forever.
The kits she was raising were currently under the careful surpervision of the Elders, who graciously offered to give the very clearly stressed she-cat a much needed break from the Nursery. Though, of course, it really wasn't her nieces and nephew that she was getting all worked up about.
"Ugh! No! I won't do it!" She hissed down at her reflection, which mirrored her barred teeth and the bitterness in her eyes directly back at her. Growling, she swiped at the branch beneath her with her claws, sending little flakes of tree bark scattering down into the water like raindrops. "Why am I feeling so...guilty about this? I shouldn't feel gulity! He made our lives miserable! If anything, HE should be the one to apologize!"

Stormrumble had come to the water to go fishing for his meal, or everyone else's meal actually. He was walking towards the river absentmindedly when he was snapped out of it when he heard a cat's anger fueled rage fest. To his surprise, it was the usually calm Tinybreath that was making the racket.
He headed towards her in a bit of a hurry, checking if she was talking to someone or not. "Hey... are you alright?"
"H-Huh?!" Tinybreath nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard to voice addressing her, having been far too lost in her own thoughts to even notice the tom approaching. Her gaze immediately snapped over towards the bank, where the younger warrior she recognized as Stormrumble was staring at her with obvious confusion. "Y-Yes! I'm a-alright! Yeah! Totally!" The she-cat stuttered out awkwardly, her face burning under her black fur from embarrassment. How could she have been so reckless? Had she really been so loud that it concerned one of her clanmates? She was just lucky enough that it had been this tom that heard her, and not...
"Umm...just how long have you been standing there? T-There...isn't...anyone with you, right?"

(ah ha, he's actually not too young, he's on the verge of becoming a senior warrior)
Stormrumble looked around him, checking for anybody around him. "I don't believe there's anyone around, but I just got here. I came to go fishing, but if you want someone to talk to, I can do so." He said, his deep bass voice speaking softly to her. He walked over beside her, sitting down, his bulky muscles shifting underneath his blue-gray fur and he gave a small stretch.
He looked at Tinybreath gently, making sure she was comfortable as well.
The fur standing up on her back slowly soothed back down in relief, as Tinybreath scooted over on her branch to make room for the bulky tom. Letting out a breath she hadn't even realized she was holding, the she-cat sighed, her gaze dropping back down to her reflection in the river...this time with another right beside it. It...wouldn't hurt to vent to Stormrumble, would it? She didn't know him all that well, but that meant he'd probably have a more unbiased view of the whole situation. "It's, um...it's my brother. Chimerahunt." she finally mewed, her voice barely above a whisper, though her lip curled in a small sneer at her sibling's name.
"I'm sure you saw, that whole...situation? At his promotion? It's just, ugh, I hate that I feel bad about doing that. He's made my and our other brother's lives miserable for as long as I can remember; he's never given two fish tails about us. Ever. And yet somehow he's promoted to Deputy, and we're in the wrong because we've stood up to him for once in our lives? I hate this."
