Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Rhapsodyrose exited the nursery with a smile. It was nice to visit her nieces and nephews, and see that a part of her sister had survived their mother's brutal treatment. She had never been a big fan of Vanillapaw's mate, but he had stepped up to be a father, and she was impressed to see how much he cared about the kits. She purred as she looked around the cave, then headed for the camp exit. She wanted to find something for the kits to play with now that they were older, other than her plumy tail.
Crocusleaf stared for a moment. Normally, he would just walk away, trying to avoid the other cat; however, he had been making an effort recently...or saying he would make an effort to be more social. Maybe this was a chance to prove to himself that he did know how to talk to cats. "Hi, Rhapsodyrose," the young warrior meowed, falling into step beside his Clanmate.
She looked over as the tom fell in stop beside her, then smiled warmly. "Hey, Crocusleaf! What's up?" The young she-cat didn't know him especially well, but she was friendly with all of her clanmates. Her strong feelings of suspicion as an apprentice had largely faded now that she had seen her clan defend her sister and strike down Yellowmoon, saving her newnieces and nephews from a stressful life.
The light grey tabby shuffled his paws awkwardly. "Nothing...nothing much. I was just about to go out...for a walk. Do you mind if I tag along with...whatever you're doing...?"
"Sure! I was just going to find some new toys for Vanillapaw's kits to play with. Now that they're getting feisty, it hurts when they bite your tail," she explained, whisking the fluffy appendage. "We can have some fun with it, though, so you aren't too bored. Maybe we can do some testing ourselves." Rhapsodyrose purred in amusement at the thought of two grown warriors playing about with leaves, moss, and whatever else they could find.
