Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Mercurycrown is no longer a member of the Immortal Council. I'm holding onto the two extra lives currently just as how you three each have two lives plus your own. We need to be on the look out for another council member. If anyone has any suggestions bring them forward, although... No offense to my blood born kits, but maybeeeee maybeeee we shouldn't consider any of them. They're great guardians, but lack compassion and although they're capable of being graceful they choose not to," Glowstar said.
Speaking ill about her kits took a lot of stamina for her to say. No matter how high their body count was or how absolutely cruel they could be she always defended them as her little angels. Never once choosing to not speak up for them when someone spoke bad. She was blinded by the fact that they were hers and what remained of her mate Rake. But while they would make excellent proxies and leaders of the league, they would not succeed in leading DayClan's way of life the way it was. Or at least wouldn't be happy doing so.
Leucisticcrow walked by, paused hearing his mom talk about him and then dragged his tail against the ground walking away.
"I'm sorry Lucistic!" Glowstar said stretching her paw out apologetically to her son, but Leucisticcrow was gone, "Eh, he'll get over it. Anyways any suggestions?"
Voidedmemories gave glowstar a sympathetic smile. “He’ll be okay.” She turned back to the rest of the council, humming thoughtfully. “I’m not sure if I’m being honest. I didn’t think we’d need a new one for a long time!”
Rubyflame nodded, "Indeed, I've been caring for my kits mostly... And with so many of us still recovering from SunClan," She muttered voice dropping into a growl. Though Sunclan were their allies now, and they'd given them MoonClan's territory to get enough food to survive. She would not forget how they'd tried to steal her kits from her... and had succeeded in damaging the relationship she had with her children. "And me in the nursery, I just haven't had a chance to see any stand out cats. Fia Cendrillion though is a strong fighter... But I don't know if she's a leader." She muttered thinking hard. Fang would have no interest, her mate was a lot of things, but he much preferred to have peace and quiet. He supported her always, but he wouldn't want to take the direction of the clan into his paws.
She thought hard trying to think. Auburnwolf was still bitter about SunClan, and she could relate, but he wasn't a good candidate for leadership either.
"I'm trying to think of anyone who... I dunno took leadership or took action recently. Really all I can think about is how we all survived SunClan's torture... Maybe Windchaser?" She said after a moment recalling the lithe warrior doing her best for DayClan over the past moon. "She's a hard worker and has been keeping spirits up as best she can."
"Mercurycrown was our DayClan representative and Windchaser is clan born with a great amount of pride and devotion sharing much of DayClan cats traits. I think she would be a good voice and a positive opposing voice to our discussions," Glowstar thought aloud.
She had known Windchaser since she was an apprentice and she had always been very outspoken about outsiders on their land despite that she was probably one of the few DayClan cats that cared. She was always nurturing to those who did choose to join and were new, careful to not cross the line into bullying. More than that, she was and still is young. When she was in SunClan she had chosen to try and be a SunClan initiate and when it hadn't panned out she had run. There was no shame or fault in her learning and truthfully Glowstar welcomed it, but her only worry was that Windchaser wouldn't believe that she was ready. But maybe she'd be surprised and delighted and accept it.
"Maybe we should go talk to her? See if she's up for the task."
