oooh i love both of those! maybe we could do both? the plot with changeling sounds perfect to give her some different experiences and the plot with azazel sounds perfect for her since she’s prone to bad luck with everyone and everything. plus! ian and i have been plotting that talvi and tas were childhood friends, so it would make total sense that she’d stick up for her! ooh i’m so excited! o:

Alright, I have a few characters for potential plots.

AYLIK
Tasman's brother and right hand, and a Cauil dedicate. Incredibly loyal to his family, but he has hyperthymesia, which means he has an extraordinary memory, able to recall far more past events that he's experienced than average, in near perfect, if not perfect, detail. Though his abilities are amazing, he hates it, really, and suffers constantly for it, getting thrown back into memories that seem to just endlessly loop, reminding him of every success, every failure, every death, he's ever seen. This has broken him to the point that his heart is in a tiny little cage deep in his shattered soul, and his conscience is essentially nonexistent. He's abandoned it to better serve Tasman and his littermates, however he is needed. I think him and Talvi could make good friends, but he'd likely try to warn her about cats like Azazel who are just using her, and I could see them fighting over her desire to see everyone as good. I'd like to see a romance with them too, but because of her sexuality, I figured we should first flesh out a platonic friendship, before deciding it they'd be a good fit. If it does progress to romance/becoming mates, I think it'd be fun if Aylik realized he was in love with her first, but doesn't say anything, not wanting to get hurt, only for him to watch Talvi have a relationship or two crash and burn before he's able to finally admit to her he cares about her more than just as a friend. c:

LAKEVEIL
A friend of Tasman's as of recently, and soon to be the new Vrachii after her mother's suicide. She's one of the twin Dvorayne in BrookClan, her brother being Blazehowl, who she's incredibly close with. She was a Tiveronah dedicate (will be Nivet, ofc, once the plots over and she's in her new position) and can be incredibly manipulative and abusive to those she sees as weak. She's also a cat who would do anything to higher her place in society, and she'd likely try to make friends with Talvi if she's close with Tasman, and especially so if she became Boyar. Considering Talvi's 'everyone is good' attitude, Lake would very likely try to toughen her up. I could see her setting up bad relationships, dangerous situations, etc, on the sly, aimed at making her realize that there are those in the world who are horrible, and not worth the air they breathe. She could be right there when everything falls apart, the cynical voice in Talvi's ear, comforting her, but making her question her own world views. She'd make a good source to add to Taikatalvi's seeming 'bad luck', and if Talvi and Tasman ever find out about her antics, it could go one of two ways. Either Lake has come to really care about those two, and sincerely apologizes, promising to make it right, or she jumps off the deep end, and tries to ruin both of them, only to end up executed. (This would go hand in hand with Blazehowl, who is currently having a thing with Dinara, one of Tasman's siblings. He'd either disown Lake, or jump off the deep end too, if the latter happened, depending on how things go.)

FOXSTAR
High Priestess of SunClan. She's a highly manipulative, self-serving cat with a laundry list of crimes that she's committed, from murdering queens and kits, killing leaders, and even cursing a former mate of hers because he broke her heart. Idk if she'd going to have any sort of positive or negative relationship with Tasman, as nothing's been plotted, but she'd be very likely to try and manipulate Talvi, getting her to do things against her clan or spilling secrets under the guise of friendship. She'd promise Taikatalvi the world, then stab her in the back when it mattered most.

I have a lot more characters as well, if these aren't what you're looking for, or if you have any other plots/ideas in mind you'd like to try out. :3

Glad we're on the same page with those two! I love your idea of a childhood crush too. With Tasman and Taikatalvi's friendship, he'd have definitely kept an eye on her, and I could see him falling for her before he really became jaded. Maybe we have a thread going through some of their past? It could start right before his family was killed, where he's about to confess, but stops himself at the last second? Then it could jump to right after his family's death perhaps after him having come back from Springlockedgrave for a mental health check (he'd have had nightmares and flashbacks to his family dying, so he'd have been in a pretty bad state, despite trying to hide it), and maybe progress to when they were Kadets, just to slowly build up them knowing each other, and the distance they have before reconnecting with Tasman's promotion. We could also have a second thread where it's them in the present, reconnecting. Aylik would have suppressed his feelings, but likely was there in the background the entire time. Talvi could assume it was because of his closeness with Tasman, and he was just making sure she didn't hurt his sister, when he's really trying to keep her safe from a distance and make it seem as though he doesn't care.

Yeah, Lake's definitely going to be more of a presence than Foxstar, I expect. Fox would become more important if Talvi became Boyar, since Fox always wants more cats on her side. She was friends with Kerrigan though, so by that virtue, Talvi may be more cautious around her. For Lake, maybe we make a thread with Tas, Talvi, and Lake all together while this chaos is going on? Talvi could get into some trouble thanks to something Lake did earlier, and both Tas & Lake could help her out? (Maybe Lake lured a fox and her cub into the area? Talvi maybe wants to try caring for the cub, for finding it's mom, only for the mom to come out and attack or something, idk.) Could also just be a normal friendship building thread. cx

For Fox, we'd probably be best with an almost random encounter. Foxstar is allied with EarthClan, so perhaps they meet at the border and talk for a while, so Talvi can meet the cat she's heard about. (And Lake's father is Deal, the ex-mate that Fox cursed, so she'd have definitely heard about all the curse business from Lake) We can see where it goes from there, whether they'll be 'friends' or enemies or what have you. :3
