Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Here one moment, gone the next - a sudden blaze of energy had hit Patchkit like a lightning strike, and he started streaking across camp and weaving around warriors with his tail streaming behind him. He yowled his joy to the sky as he slipped narrowly between two ginger paws, then raced back toward the nursery. "LOOK OUT, EVERYONE!"
He skidded across the ground, nearly crashing into Smokeykit, but he had moved back in time and Patchkit flew past him and into the nursery. There was an audible thump as he hit the cave wall and fell into a nest; then, laughing cheerily, he stumbled back out of the den and offered the other tom a dazed grin. "Did you see that?"
Smokeykit blinked sympathetically and gave his brother a lick on the head. "We'll get used to it, and when we're apprentices, we'll have all the room we could want!"
"Yeah, I guess." Patchkit didn't look convinced. Though he'd been trying his best to adjust, he struggled to remember all of the clan's strange ways. "I don't see why we can't go out now. We had the whole barn before, clearly we can handle it!"
"Maybe they're worried that if they let us out, then all the kits, even those who can't handle it, will want to go out too." Smokeykit mused. "After all, we're not exactly normal."
"Well the reason we aren't normal should be a good enough reason for us to get special treatment," Patchkit grumbled, but with less conviction: she made a good point. From what he'd seen of the clan it was unlikely they'd play favorites like that.
