Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

I, for one, love vocabulary. I'm sure you do too since you were still intrigued enough by my dry title to click it. I kept it dull to lure out the real nerds, and here you are! Glad to see you, welcome aboard. I pat you on the back and take you underneath my wing, gesturing to the grand library-to-be below. This, my dear, is a thread for expanding your brain. What do we think with? Words. and images. What better way to strengthen our minds but with words and ways to use them? If you can learn to speak and read and write, you can do anything. Quick-thinking and wit comes from discipline and an interest in literature, so I've made this thread to emphasize the importance of it. I am making it my mission to expand my dialect, so if we're in this together, follow the format below and prepare to be inspired by the words of others. Challenge yourself to use these words in your RPG.
FORMAT
WORD
noun : a unit of language, consisting of one or more spoken sounds or their written representation, that functions as a principal carrier of meaning. Words are composed of one or more morphemes and are either the smallest units susceptible of independent use or consist of two or three such units combined under certain linking conditions, as with the loss of primary accent that distinguishes black bird from black bird. Words are usually separated by spaces in writing, and are distinguished phonologically, as by accent, in many languages.
example : "That's all gossip, you know; not a word of truth in it, and it's been very annoying to us both." - The Spenders, Harry Leon Wilson.
