"I could always show you what a great swimmer I am but then I might catch a chill." He mrrowed with amusement and indicated back towards the prey. "We could collect our prey and then go do something fun like explore or go for a run."

"There's so many things I want to do once new leaf arrives. We have a beautiful field of wildflowers that blossoms and the lake beach is so much fun. Oh, I know, have you seen the red giantwood yet? It's amazing!" There was a red giantwood tree just beyond Summerclan territory that they had not claimed but it was basically theirs since it didn't belong to the other clans and was too close to be considered rogue territory.

It did not take them long to reach camp and he quickly set his prey down on the fresh-kill pile, stretching his muscles. "Ready to head back out?" He grinned at his friend.

"Let's go check out the redwood first. It's amazing! I don't see why we don't expand to it, there is always so much prey around it." He commented thoughtfully. He would say something to his mom except she probably wouldn't like knowing that he had been going beyond their borders for anything. He flicked his tail as he led the way out of camp, large paws buzzing with excitement.

(I'm so sorry for the long wait between replies, I've been working crazy hours lol )
"Awesome!" He purred, leading the way towards the tree. Once they were far enough from camp, he made sre he fell in step with her. "It's just outside of the territory but close enough that no one will notice or really care." He explained matter-of-factly. Sometimes, he could be a bit of a know-it-all.

Lupinepaw laughed and nodded. "This is why I like you, you're so smart." He winked at her playfully before pushing ahead farther. He was silent for a bit as they walked and finally they reached the thunderpath. "We have to cross it but it isn't busy during this time of the day, usually."
Sunpaw's ears burned from the remark but she shook it off at the mention of a Thunderpath. "We'll have to be careful. Getting smooshed doesn't sound like a very fitting ending for our story." She remarked.

"I'm not going to disagree with that one," he mused as he nodded in agreement. He watched a couple of the large beasts roar past before everything was empty and silent. "Okay, go now!" He shouted suddenly, dashing across the road and hoping Sunpaw was just on his heels.
Sunpaw darted after him, fighting back panic. About halfway across though, she tripped on a pebble and hit the ground hard. She tried to reorient, but terror and confusion kept her rooted. The thunderpath remained silent, but frozen as she was, even the slowest monster would spell disaster.

As he neared the edge of the thunderpath, he glanced over his shoulder to assure himself that Sunpaw was there and was struck with horror when he realized she was laying in the middle of the path. He swung his head back and forth quickly to check for monsters and raced over to her. There was none in sight but he could feel a rumble growing which meant that there was at least one heading their direction. "Can you get up?" He asked her, fear and concern riddling his voice. She was smaller than him so he might be able to carry her across but he was worried that he couldn't move fast enough.
Using Lupinepaw's voice to orient herself, Sunpaw pulled herself up, wincing at a badly scraped forepaw. Still somewhat dizzy from the tumble, she hurriedly limped towards his call.
