Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The shift from greenleaf to leaf-fall was a sudden one this day, much to the dismay of Hystericstar. Just the day before, the sun had been strong in the sky, but today the winds blew in the chill from the mountains. It had been a huge shock to his body when he stepped out of the den this morning, and unfortunately most of his duties had been outside. The hairless tom could almost hear Chestnutheart yelling at him from StarClan to get back inside. At least he now had a deputy again, so he wasn't doing the job of three cats anymore.
Perhaps it was the foreboding of the freezing days ahead, but his body was feeling a lot weaker lately. His limbs were stiff, as if he had been stuck in bed all day. Moving around hadn't helped much, but he thought little of it. He always had a frail body, which made it a wonder that he was even leader in the first place. As if on cue, he was thrown into a fit of coughs. Luckily, he was still out of camp, so it wasn't like the entire clan would be witness to his worsening coughs. Instead, he was almost tucked away near the Great Oak, having been heading towards the Secret Garden for some herbs.
