Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Fire: You have been holding in your emotions, but it is time to let them out. Believe it or not, people are much happier to hear what you really feel.
Carnagepanic's horoscope suddenly felt important. When the Soothsayer first delivered it, he wasn't sure what to think; now he knew it was for Southpaw's sake, not his own. "Southpaw, sometimes it is hard to tell cats you care about how you feel," he told her carefully. "It's very scary, even when it's good news. You know, I was terrified to ask Valleyrose to be my mate! But if Illius cares about you, he wants to know how you're feeling. If he wants to live in the Regime, that might be disappointing, but maybe he can make you happier down there, if he knows you're struggling."

Southpaw listened, and even though the thought of telling him scared her, Carnagepanic's words helped soothe that fear a little...
She let out a breathe she hadn't even realized that she holding, the stress that she had been holding onto slipping away along with it. At least some of it "Your right, I helped you find the courage to go on a date with Valleyrose. So why I am so afraid of telling the one I love?" despite the seriousness, she gave a little chuckle "I guess I need to take my own advice sometimes. I'll talk with him when we get back.... I mean I'm just asking..."
"Exactly, Southpaw," he purred, relieved that his words had made things better instead of worse. "You're just asking, you don't have to make a decision right now. But tell me how it goes, okay? If you're going to move back home to SunClan or not." It would be tricky to meet up, he didn't want to get her in trouble but he dreaded the tunnels.

She nodded "Ok I will come back and see you soon" with the renewed energy she dashed ahead to where the sunflowers stood watch overhead, even though her gait was a little uneven. All upturned and staring upwards at the sun "It has to be perfect for momma...." there were so many to choose from, but that only made the choice more difficult. She could still see the vacant expression on her mothers face as she laid in the nest, feel the blood that had pooled around them. She had to take in a few deep breathes to calm herself before she could even think about looking "The color isn't all that important... Momma couldn't see the colors anyway... But it needs to be a perfect shape"
Carnagepanic chuckled as she ran off to the flowers; then, feeling a surge of energy himself, he raced after her. He was so tempted to run about and play in the fields, but it wasn't the right time. They weren't here to play, they were here to find her mother a flower. One that felt right.
He broke off from her side and started to weave through the sunflowers, rearing up on his hind legs to take a peek at a few of the high ones. Perfectly symmetrical, it couldn't be too hard to find, right? But as he passed flower after flower, none of them were perfect. "Perfect shape, or just really good shape?" he asked hopefully.

"It has to be perfect" she assured him, but much like carnagepanic she was struggling to find the perfect one. Some had petals missing, while others had bent stalks or seeds that had fallen out of the center. She could still remember the gift her dad had gotten her, and how much time he had spent carving the clay so that she could 'see' his artwork. So surely finding the perfect flower would be easier than that? right?
"Okay," he sighed, knowing she was right; it had to be a good gift. He paced up and down the flowers restlessly. One of them had to be good.
He paused in front of one. The stem was broken, so the flower hung low to the ground, but it was symmetrical and the seeds were neat and round. "How about this one?"

Southpaw trotted over, carefully examining the flower. She almost told him no at first glance because of the broken stem, but as she looked closer the flower that it was holding up was truely stunning. All of it's petals where in place, the seeds perfectly spiraled. As a bonus is was a deep rich color. Her eyes lit up as she carefully removed it from the stem with a big grin "I think momma would love it!"
